B) Tax exemption certificate

The tax exemption certificate, issued by the Cayman Islands Government, is only available to Exempt companies, valid for 20 years and exempts the company form any form of corporation tax should such taxes be introduced in the Cayman Islands. This is a one off payment and application can be made for this certificate at any time. The tax exemption certificate fee from government is US$1,829.26. There is a requirement to file with the application for this certificate a government issued Certified copy of the Certificate of Incorporation for which the government fee is US$121.95.
