Eric Lopez: Dean of College of education health and human development, thrusday feb12. Follow up from first summit. Feedback looking for diversity, received two emails, invitation to diversity summit, wanted to personally come and invite you, please RSVP ahead of time, diversity summit- list of things that we have done, also have a diversity email.

Admin Reports:

Leach: More opportunity for people to go testify for bills in Helena, ex, increase in gas and cigarette tax. Alumni foundation voted to have policy on website. Police chief announced retirement.

Zoltek: 30 participants inn the trip to Helena. Comedian with 300+ students attending

Cronk: Finalizing presentation date, 4-5 presentations for the next four weeks. Campbell: Thank for allowing my absence, this weekend’s concert, please attend. Tickets only $5. Encourage club to apply for match funding or full funding.

Hetherington: Establishing election timeline. Elections calendar was changed slightly? No..? No. Looking forward to bills being passed soon.

Jones: Doodle-poll for the winter retreat, please fill it out. OSE sent a request for some senators, Looking for people to help select people for awards (award committee). Funding board looking for at large student. Two week and then appointment. Hearing and a senate judiciary on Senate bill 97, overall prevent foreign law acting inside Montana, student went up inn proponent for the bill, sent lobbyist saying that ASMSU does not have any position on it, bills will start coming forward. Slowly trickling in these next few weeks.

Senate Reports:

Kaminetzky: Senator DeRudder is present

Killian: Working on two resolutions, bill that is a drafting in opposition of banning bicycles(skateboards and wheelchairs) on two lane highways without a shoulder, WIC resolution, satellite on campus, federal funding for healthy food based on income, Conner- plastic water bottle ban, start on main campus, cuts down on plastic. Let me know if you want

Grover: Curriculum committee, discussed hospitality courses

Bertolino: Sir Ken Robinson coming soon, master class 5 seats left.

Swenson: Parking committee business plan data review, voted on permit pries for the next two years, SB and E, 195 and then 205. Still cheaper than Uof M. 5$ surcharge going for transportation demand management. Reserved permit going up $25. Chief Hutskey retiring, Tuesday last day.

Hetherington: Reason behind increase?

Swenson: Parking lot projected price, 16,000,000, this will make up for some of the renovation cross.

Hurst: For every parking pass they sell, do they really sell 12 passes for one spot?

Swenson: I really don’t know.

DeRudder: Incentivizing F lot with no price?

Bertolino: Keep eyes out for emails as judicial committee look for sponsors.

Falls Down: Student Memorial committee Feb 8th, handing out free hot chocolate and cider, need people to man feedback table.

Jones: For those of you that have seen a poster with a skull on it, Hope Evil and Death, it’s a philosophical presentation, difference between agnostic and Christian beliefs, Sam Nuelands and Prof D, moved to the ballrooms, encourage you all to go. If nothing else, attracts 10% of the student body. Will be really busy Feb 6th, 7:30pm.

Walker: I think there is a basketball game tonight if anyone is interested.
