CLUB YC PARK RULES

• All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the YC Social Club and must be consumed on YC Social Club property. Anyone found on YC Social Club property in possession of and or consuming alcohol not purchased from the YC Social Club is subject to immediate removal from YC Social Club property and teams will subjected to severe fines. Any further disciplinary action shall be at the Club YC board of directors discretion.

• No Alcohol on playing field. All alcohol must remain in the dugout.

• No Pets of any kind are allowed on Club YC property. Severe fines are applicable if found with a pet on the property. Exception: Guide dogs or Service animals will be permitted.

LEAGUE RULES

• All games must begin on time. A 10 minute grace period shall be given to all teams.

• A team must have a minimum of 8 players (must have 2 female players) to begin a game. Fines and a forfeit will be given to teams who fail to field a team after the 10 minute grace period has elapsed.

• The batting order must not exceed 3 male batters in a row followed by a female batter. After the 10th batter is achieved in the batting order, you may continue to bat all players – provided a 1 male and 1 female order is attained.

• All rain outs shall be called by the Club YC President and/or CASPA Director of Safety up to 4 pm the day of. Cancellations will be posted on the online system and it is the responsibility of captains to view that system for communication. After 4 pm, teams are expected to show up for scheduled game times.

• Games that are called rainouts shall be rescheduled by the ball league committee. • All teams must consist of 7 male players and 3 female players. It is permissible to play with 2 female players, however such team must record an automatic out in the location of the 3rd female in the batting order.

• The commitment line is in affect for all games and affects all players.

• An intentional walk is defined as a male batter who receives 4 consecutive balls with no strikes in the count with a female batter on deck. Upon the 4th consecutive ball the batter is automatically awarded 2nd base however, the female batter must hit.

• There is a 1 hour and 20 minute time slot for each game. No new inning will begin after 1 hour and 10 minutes. LAST INNING must be called prior to the 1 hour and 10 minute mark and at the beginning of the inning. Please make every effort to ensure games start and finish on time.

• Maximum runs per inning is 6. Last inning is open.

• All games must be played on scheduled date and time. No Exceptions

• A mercy rule will be in effect to ensure game times. A mercy shall be called if, at the completion of the 5th inning, one team is up by 15 or more runs.

• All teams must use league rostered players to fulfill a batting order. A maximum of 3 substitute CASPA rostered players are allowed per game.

• Players who are eligible for year-end playoffs are those who have achieved a minimum of 5 regular season games and must be a rostered CASPA member.

• Upon completion of each regular season game both teams must submit their scores to [email protected]. Captains must retain copy of score sheet in the event there is a dispute.

• All bats must conform to SPN Canada specifications. These bats must display either an ASA 2004 or a USSSA 2012 logo on the bat. All bats must be tested and carry a current CASPA sticker before entering play. Any bat may be retested at any point during the season. Failure to comply will result in severe fines.

• All rules governed by SPN Canada 2015 rule book, except those superseded by this document, shall be in full affect.

• All League rule infractions shall be reviewed by CASPA and fines levied accordingly.

• All CASPA rule infractions shall be reviewed by the CASPA board of directors and fines levied accordingly. CASPA will have no say over fines levied by the Club YC
