Criteria:

To apply, a student must:

A. Be a senior in high school planning to attend an accredited college, university, community college, or technical school;

B. Be pursuing a degree in something other than agriculture;

C. Be a member or the student’s family must be a member of the Missouri Farm Bureau;

D. Demonstrate leadership and academic ability;

E. Demonstrate financial need.

Part III. Academic Information Enclose an official transcript signed by a high school official. Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted. Also required is a copy of your official SAT/ACT composite score notification. What is your high school GPA? What was your composite SAT/ACT score? Briefly summarize your school, church, and/or community activities. List any organizations to which you belong and offices you have held. Part IV. Personal Reference Please submit a character reference letter with this application. Reference may not be relatives of the applicant. If reference letter is sent under separate cover (not with application), please inform those writing them of the March 31st deadline.

Part V. Essay Please attach a typewritten essay explaining your professional goals and objectives. Clearly state in your essay the contributions you expect to make to agriculture and/or agribusiness and how this scholarship will help you achieve these goals. Also explain what Farm Bureau is and how it helps today’s farmers and ranchers.
