 Interpret / analyze linear graphs given a particular situation.  Find solution of equations both algebraically and using a calculator (point of intersection)  Find solution of a linear function that is equal to 0 ( Find the Root or Zero)  Write a definition of a SOLUTION to an equation  Find the equation of a line in either Point-Slope or Slope-Intercept if you are given 1. two points on the line 2. one point on the line and the slope of the line  Understand the relationship between lines that are parallel and lines that are perpendicular to each other.  Recognize and create equations of special lines: Vertical and Horizontal.  Find the slope of a line if given 1. a graph of the line 2. two points on the line. You must show me all work.  Graph lines on a Cartesian coordinate plane if given the equation of the line in point-slope, slope-intercept or standard form.  Describe the difference between a line with positive slope, negative slope, 0 slope or an undefined slope.  Describe the slope of a line 4 different ways. (know most important way).  Find equation of line perpendicular to another line given a point of intersection of the two lines.  Find equation of a line from the graph of the line.  Find equation of a line given an table of values of that line.  If given a graph of a line, generate a “story” or situation that describes the linear relationship.  Graph linear equations using the x-intercept and y-intercept method. Show all work.
