Subcontracting 2015 – international business catalyst

- It is one of the best events I have ever attended. Customers' reactions exceed our expectations. The organization of cooperation meetings was also excellent. I am very pleased with their results – that is how, in a nutshell, this year's edition of the SUBCONTRACTING Industrial Subcontracting Exhibition which took place on June 9-12, 2015, in Poznań, has been summed up by Hanz Suero, International Key Accounts Manager from the Swedish CABSEAL AB company specializing in the production of seals and industrial insulation systems. Equally enthusiastic opinions could be heard on the last day of the Exhibition at the stands of a number of exhibitors. Above all, the quality of the audience who visited the Fair was assessed highly. In the case of such a specialist event, which is the Subcontracting Exhibition, it is the quality of the visitors that determines the success of the fair.

Thanks to an extensive promotional campaign, the most important element of which was telemarketing and the shipment of personal invitations to more than 20,000 national and foreign industry representatives, the event organizers managed to gather at the fair the persons responsible for the ordering of subcontracting services. The talks conducted at the stands were for them an opportunity to find subcontractors among over 60 companies offering spare production capacity that presented their potential at the SUBCONTRACTING Exhibition. The exhibitors of this year's, fourth edition of the fair, arrived from six countries: France, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland and Sweden. They offered subcontracting work in machining, forming, welding, cutting, cleaning, painting, plastic processing, engineering, fasteners and industrial services.

This year, an additional advantage of the Subcontracting Exhibition was the presence of the largest exhibition of modern industrial technologies, ITM Poland, held simultaneously in the neighbouring exhibition halls, which brought together nearly a thousand companies from almost 30 countries. The exhibition of both events was visited by a total number of 16,955 professionals.

The stand of the SAMSUNG Electronics Manufacturing Poland company aroused a lot of interest. During the SUBCONTRACTING Exhibition, this global concern was looking for local suppliers for the production of washing machines and refrigerators in Wronki (Wielkopolska) that are to replace the existing suppliers from Asia. The total value of purchases that the company intends to make in Europe is approximately EUR 500 million per year. The offer of SAMSUNG was addressed mainly to companies offering semi- finished metal products, electronics, plastic and rubber products, wires and cables, fittings and fasteners, glass, packaging, labels and printed materials.

Record-breaking interest in the SUBCONTRACTING ITM Poland Meetings 211 bilateral talks, attended by 71 offerors of subcontracting services and potential clients, is the result of international Subcontracting Meetings that constitute an important element of the formula of the Fair. It is an absolute record of all edition of that event. The largest group among the participants are Polish entrepreneurs, but the meetings were also attended by the representatives of companies from the Czech Republic, France, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Ukraine. They included, for example, the representatives of such industrial giants as Volkswagen Poznań, ABB, C.Tech France, Fibaro Group, Sapa Aluminium, SECO/Warwick Europe or Tyco Electronics. The companies participating in the Subcontracting Meetings emphasized the high efficiency of that form of matchmaking. It arises from the fact that the profiles of the offerors and the demand of companies seeking subcontractors are known before the fair, and based on them the meetings' participants arrange the dates of specific meetings with selected partners before the event, using a special web interface. Subcontracting focuses on modernity A new element of 2015 edition were electronic business cards provided to the participants of the Subcontracting Meetings. They enable data exchange on the Poken networking online platform. This innovative technology allows easier management of contacts established during the fair. The exchange of information takes place through a touch of two devices with the use of NFC (Near Field Communication). Using the pokens, at the exhibitors' stands it was also possible to download electronic information materials and folders stored on specially marked electronic components (touch point). The data set colected can be read after logging in to a personalised account on the website. In the spring 2015, MTP was the first to introduce this innovative technology to the Polish market.

Subcontracting 2016 Another edition of the SUBCONTRACTING Industrial Subcontracting Exhibition will be held on June 7-10, 2016, in Poznań. Next year, the exhibition will be accompanied again by the ITM Poland Industrial Technologies Fair. Join us!
