Arizona State Service Pistol Championship And Distinguished Revolver Match Thursday February 21, 2013, Service Pistol Sunday, February 24, 2013 Distinguished Revolver Hosted by the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club

WHO MAY COMPETE: Open to any member of the National Rifle Association who also meets the eligibility requirements specified under CMP Rules. You must be a resident of Arizona and a member of the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association to be the State Service Pistol Champion. NRA and ASRPA membership forms will be available at the range.

FACILITIES: 40 Covered firing points, paved and controlled by a loudspeaker system, with electronically- controlled targets, and restrooms are available.

TIME: Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. The Service Pistol Championship will begin after the conclusion of the International Center Fire Match. If needed we will run two relays. The CMP “Leg” match and DR match will be fired after the conclusion of the CF and 45 cal. Ind. match on Sat. provided there is space, and if needed on Sunday after the 45 Cal. match

ENTRIES LIMITED TO: 76 competitors. Two Relays if needed.

CATEGORIES/CLASSES: For the Service Pistol Championship ONLY: Competitors will be divided into two categories: (1) Civilian, and (2) Service. The Service Category will include Regular, Reserve, National Guard, and Police. With fewer than 5 competitors in a category, the categories will be combined within the same class. With fewer than 5 competitors in a combined class, the competitors will be moved to the next higher class (except Master to High Master). Each match will have an individual Match Winner. In each class and category with 5-8 competitors, excluding a Match Winner, there will be a first place in class winner. With 9-15 competitors, a second place in class will be awarded. Match winners will not be eligible for any class award in the same match. In such cases, the class award will be passed on to the next ranking eligible score. A competitor will not be eligible for more than one award per match. In the event of at least 2 but fewer than 5 Master or High Master shooters, a winner or first in class will be paid, With only one Master or High Master shooter, match winner only will be paid.

AWARDS: For the Service Pistol Championship: Awards for all matches will be cash awards or NRA points In addition, the winner of Match 5 will be declared the Arizona State Service Pistol Champion and will receive a Service Pistol Champion Trophy

Matches 1-4: Winner - 4 pts. First in Class: - 4 pts. Match 5: Winner - 5 pts. Second in Class: - 3 pts. Match 5 First in Class - 4 pts.

Service Pistol INDIVIDUAL MATCHES: Match No. 1 – 20 shots, slow fire, 50 yards Match No. 2 – National Match Course, 25 yards Match No. 3 – 20 shots, timed fire, 25 yards Match No. 4 – 20 shots, rapid fire, 25 yards Match No. 5 Championship, an aggregate of 1,2,3,4 Matches
