Berlin Subway

Dive into the challenge of an everyday shift of a Berlin subway driver. Discover the fascinating world of tunnel systems and original detailed stations of Germany's capital Berlin and enjoy the view when driving along the above ground sections of the Bülowstrasse and the Schönhauser Allee! Includes the new 'Enhanced Graphic Engine' and the 'Reality-Mode' by TML.

"Going underground in the capital" This package contains two complete subway routes with its 53 stations. The U2 with its 29 stations takes the virtual driver from the newly designed station Pankow in the north-east of the city through the eastern part calling at Alexanderplatz and then moving on to the western part via the Potsdamer Platz, Wittenbergplatz, Bahnhof Zoo, right to Ruhleben. Sections of this route run above ground and are modelled true to the original.

The second subway line, the U8, has 24 stations and connects the northern part of Berlin with the southern part. It runs from Wittenau to Hermannstraße. All stations, depots and animated train wash facilities are originally detailed and the tunnel systems will give a true impression of the atmosphere underground.

Pièce de résistance of this add-on is surely the newly developed light- and texturing system, which is a part of the 'Enhanced Graphic Engine'. It is now possible to display realistic lighting effects in tunnels as well as reflections on glass, metal or water surfaces. This is the first time ever that this has been made possible for Train Simulator. A highlight is the special start-up program which allows the virtual train driver to select various settings such as a TML special camera system which enables an outside view of the train inside a tunnel, also a unique feature.

The 'Reality Mode' activates the true life of a virtual driver. Wear and tear is now a major issue for the trains. Systems can fail and driving the train in service will make it dirty meaning it has to be taken into maintenance. This however will make the train be unavailable for a given time. A thrilling effect is the frame rate of this add-on. Even old systems with an 800MHz processor will easily achieve a smooth simulation. .A well-documented and printed manual is also included in this package
