Cover Your Cough  Cover your coughs and sneezes in the crook of your arm, sleeve or with a tissue.  Put used tissues in the trash immediately.  Try to stay at least three feet away from others who are coughing.

Wash Your Hands Often  Wet hands with warm water and rub hands together with soap for at least 20 seconds.  Teach children to sing the Happy Birthday song or the Alphabet song to ensure enough time to get rid of germs.  Scrub nails by rubbing them against the palms of your hands.  Dry your hands thoroughly with a paper towel and use it to turn off the faucet.  Use alcohol based hand sanitizers when you are on the go.

Keep Your Environment Clean  Clean surfaces and commonly shared items like: Door knobs, toys, remote controls, phones, light switches, microwave and refrigerator handles, toilet seats, and faucets with disinfecting wipes or a bleach solution containing ¼ cup of bleach with 1 gallon of water.  Allow solutions to remain in contact on surfaces for 2 minutes to ensure that the contagion is eliminated.
