During Teacher Instruction: 1. Maintain Eye Contact with the Teacher 2. Silent Noise Level 3. Remain Seated 4. Scholars are expected to Raise their Hand and Wait to be Called On.

During Inquiry Learning 1. Scholars on task 2. Discussion is on topic 3. Use equipment appropriately 4. Clean up when asked

Using the Restroom 1. Refrain from going the first or last 10 minutes of class 2. Sign out using your planner or restroom pass 3. One scholar at a time

Getting scholars’ attention The teacher will say TRACK and count down from 5, when the teacher is finished you should be silent with your eyes on the teacher.

Merit/Demerit System Throughout the year scholars will be able to earn positive recognition, “merit”, or constructive criticism, “demerit”. Please realize each scholar is assigned to a team either KNIGHTS or KINGS. Their personal merits and demerits affect their team as well. The more merits scholars earn means the may be eligible for privileges.

Absenteeism Scholars are responsible for getting ALL make-up work. School Policy requires parents to call the school on the day the scholars are absent. Please bring in a written note about the absence. Scholars receive one day for each day absent to make up work.

Missing Work All missing/late work will only be accepted up to 5 days from due date. After the 5 days the assignment will receive a zero. 6/7 School Supplies

 4 packs of pencils, 2 of  2 packs of colored them are given to the pencils, 1 given to the homeroom teacher homeroom teacher  1 box of tissues, given to  1 large container of the homeroom teacher Clorox/Lysol wipes  1 locker lock, please  4 glue sticks, given to know the combination homeroom teacher  1 lock for Gym  1 pair of scissors, given to  5 tab dividers homeroom teacher  2 binders (1 inch)  Flash drive  4 packs of loose leaf  Highlighter paper  Red pen  10 pocket folders  1 pack of graph/grid  10 single subject spiral paper notebooks  1 pack gallon size Ziplocs

Please send in all supplies with your scholar’s name written on all items.

Scholars that bring all supplies will earn 50 merits.
