Screen and Fields Information

Check the box to select the applicants to whom you want to send an email.

Click on the “Actions” button at the top of the column (not the one next to an applicant’s name) and select “Email Applicants.”

Use the dropdown menu to choose the email you want to send. There are two for faculty, one for those who were interviewed and one for those who were not (see text, below).

Click the Preview button.

On the next screen, scroll down and click the “Send Emails” button. Note that you have to do a page of applicants at a time – you can’t send it to everyone, unfortunately. Dean of Faculty PeopleAdmin Procedures Faculty Searches

Dear FirstName LastName,

We are writing to let you know where we are in our search process. We have finished compiling the short list of candidates to invite for campus interviews for the position of Assistant Professor of Engineering, and, unfortunately, we were not able to include you on the list. The pool of candidates this year was a strong one, and you are among the many excellent candidates whom we interviewed whose applications we cannot pursue further at this time.

We enjoyed interviewing you and being able to have the chance to learn more about your work. And we appreciate the time and effort you spent applying for this job.

Thank you for your interest in our position at Trinity College. We wish you the best of luck in your job search.

Sincerely, Dr. Joseph Palladino, Professor of Engineering and Search Committee Chairman
