1. PRESENTATION

The Entrepeneurship4Sport 2.0 (E4SPORT 2.0) project is the continuation of the Entrepeneurship4Sport (E4SPORT) project, so its main objective is the good practices exchange and the dissemination of the sports entrepreneurship results, trying once again to promote entrepreneurial practice in youth.

The E4SPORT 2.0 is led by the Asociación Galega de Xestores Deportivos (AGAXEDE), and has the support of the Asociación Portuguesa de Gestión del Deporte (APOGESD). In addition, this edition includes as partners the Asociación de Gestores del Deporte de Castilla y León (AGEDECYL), the Asocación de Gestores del Deporte de Extremadura (AGEDEX) and the Asociación de Gestores Deportivos del Principado de (Forum Astur).

It is also a project cofinanced by the Erasmus + program of the European Union and it was approved by the Instituto de la Juventud (INJUVE).

The E4SPORT 2.0 aims include:

1) To promote the education of youth in entrepreneurial practice; 2) To promote training for intercultural dialogue, active citizenship and social inclusion; 3) To promote the development of cultural and social skills of young people in order to participate in the future in multicultural and professional contexts; 4) To promote the adequacy of learning to young people with the real needs of the labour market; 5) To promote the creating of new businesses/projects with an impact on the employability of youth; 6) To promote discussion and exchange of ideas and experiences among participants from different communities and countries. 7) To promote non-formal education as a methodology of education of young people ant Youthpass (European certificate) as recognition and validation of skills.

2. DESCRIPTION AND HEADQUARTERS

This project will be developed in monthly workshops, between November 2016 and May 2017. In Galicia, they will perform at Science of sport and physical activity faculty, located on Bastiagueiro (Oleiros, A Coruña). In parallel, the same workshops will be held at the headquarters of Asturias, Castilla y León, Extremadura and Portugal (please contact with your community association to know the exact place).

Once completed the workshops, a week of exchange will take place in Galicia, which includes 8 selected participants of each entity. The ‘exchange’ of knowledge acquired in the workshops and the sharing of different ideas and entrepreneurial project will be encouraged.

Finally, a Seminar on dissemination and transfer of good practices will also be held in Galicia.

3. APPLICATION’S CONDITIONS

The criteria for candidates’ selection are:

1) Applications may be submitted individually or groups of 3 people maximum; 2) Candidates can not be already constituted as a company or an association in the thematic scope of the idea/project present to E4SPORT 2.0 on the date of the application; 3) Candidates may be of any nationality, but must control the Galicia, Portuguese or Spanish language; 4) Candidates must be young people aged between 18 and 30 years, on the date of nomination unless authorized exceptions; 5) Candidates must be dynamic, participatory and creative, with great willingness for interaction and exchange of ideas, experiences and practices; 6) Applications must show original and innovative ideas for business projects in sport or another associated with it.

4. ANNOUNCEMENT, PROCESS AND SELECTION CRITERIA

4.1. Announcement

1) The period of nominations and the rules of the project will be announced on the websites and social networks of AGAXEDE, APOGESD, Forum Astur, AGEDECYL and AGEDEX. 2) Application for the E4SPORT 2.0 may be submitted between October 10 and November 4, 2016. 3) Only applications submitted in the official project form be evaluated.

4.2. Selection process

1) Project selected by the jury through an application process, evaluation and selection will have access to E4SPORT 2.0; with 20 places available in each entity. 2) Application made in Galicia will be evaluated and selected by AGAXEDE; in Portugal will be evaluated and selected by APOGESD; in Asturias will be evaluated and selected by Forum Astur; AGEDECYL will evaluate and select the candidates of Castilla y León; and finally, AGEDEX will evaluate and select the candidates of Extremadura. 3) The selection of candidates is limited to the maximum participation of 20 youth by each entity. The youth participation may exceed this number by the number of candidates that make up the last selected candidature. 4) Once finish the period for nominations, the jury will proceed to the evaluation and selection of them. 5) Abovementioned entities will select a jury of three judges for evaluation and selection of candidates for the 20 seats offered. 6) The results of the evaluation and selection will be communicated to candidates via email and will be published on the website of each entity. 7) The selected projects will be called for the first workshop, which will take place until ten business days after the end of the nomination process (between 21 and 30 November, 2016).

4.3. Selection criteria

Candidatures will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

1) Adequacy of the candidate/s within the scope of E4SPORT 2.0: 50%, 2) Adaptation of the application to the field of E4SPORT 2.0: 25%, 3) Innovation and creativity: 25%.

5. DIRECT BENEFITS FOR PARTICIPANTS

Participants’ benefits are:

1) Access to a program of workshops and classroom training sessions; 2) Access to a network of E4SPORT professionals and tutors; 3) Possibility of participation in the transnational exchange in Galicia; 4) Possibility of participation in the seminar; 5) Youthpass Certificate of participation and project skills, certificate of participation by the entity in which the application participates, and the possibility of credit recognition by universities collaborating in the project.

6. OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTICIPANTS

Participants in the project must meet the following requirements:

1) To participate in a proactively, creative and dynamic way in the E4SPORT 2.0 activities and autonomously in intermediate time between workshops; 2) To follow the rules and behaviour of social security; 3) To assist to the 7 training workshops; 4) To provide justification of absence to activity provided that, by reason of force majeure, can not be present at the session; 5) To participate in the exchange if he/she/they is/are selected.

7. DURATION

The E4SPORT 2.0 has four phases. The first phase is aimed at professionals who will conduct workshops, and will take place in Portugal.

The second phase will take place simultaneously in Spain (Galicia, Asturias, Castilla y Léon and Extremadura) and in Portugal, and will consist of the application and training workshops. The third and fourth phases will take place in Galicia (transnational exchange and seminar), and will involve candidates chosen for this purpose.

The dates are as follows:

1) 2nd phase: from October 10, 2016 to May 31, 2017. 2) 3rd and 4th phase: from June 1 to September 30, 2017.

8. TYPES OF ACTIVITIES

The E4SPORT 2.0 contemplates four different activities:

1) Application for project participation; 2) Seven training workshops; 3) Exchange week; 4) Seminar.

9. FREE PRICE

The participation in all E4SPORT 2.0 activities is free of charge.

10. REASONS FOR EXCLUSION

The E4SPORT 2.0 organization reserves the right to exclude from E4SPORT 2.0 project all participants who do not meet these rules or violate the principles of good faith.

11. ENTRY INTO FORCE AND INTERPRETATION OF RULES

The omitted cases in these rules will be resolved by AGAXEDE, APOGESD, Forum Astur, AGEDECYL and AGEDEX partnership, which will be sovereign in their decisions.

This regulation enters into force on October 10, 2016.
