Usable data was received from 170 sites. The total number of visits recorded in January 2015 Total Visitor Numbers was 973287; this compares to 989474 in 2014 and indicates a decrease of -1.6%. Excluding Country Parks Month of January 973,287 -1.6% q ASVA's Commentary and Observations for January 2015 Year-to-Date 973,287 -1.6% q January 2015 shows a decrease of -1.6% (excluding Forest, Regional and Country Parks) compared to January 2014. (January 2014 showed an increase of 4% over 2013.) Highland Wildlife Park Our main cafe has been closed for refurbishment since November 2014. We hope to have this up and

New Lanark World Heritage Adverse weather was experienced at the start of January which may have had a detrimental affect on Site visitor numbers. The Prestonpans Tapestry opened on 27th January.

Scottish National Gallery Overall, our January figures have been decent. We are up 5% against forecact and up 22% against January figures for last year.
