Created in God's Image Adult Sexuality Program The United Church Board for Homeland Ministries of the published this material in 1993. Created in God's Image - A Program for Ministry and Mission, is a learning program written for adults. There are ten sessions designed to last two and a half hours each. The sessions begin and end in worship. The remainder of each session is devoted to individual and group learning activities that enable people to explore the theme in a safe and structured group setting.

CLER MINISTRIES

Rev. Linda A. Goddard began teaching and designing Biblically-based sexuality education curriculum in 1982 and she and her husband, Richard, formed CLER Ministries, a non-profit corporation in 1987. CLER Ministries by way of their “Just Say Know”® elementary through adult congregational programs offers comprehensive Biblically-based sexuality education to churches via their 10-hour training program and up-to-date curriculum.

In 1988 The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest Region asked Rev. Goddard to design a week-long sexuality and spirituality camp for youth the summer before they entered the ninth grade. The camp, “Created To Be Me”® aka “Eighter’s”® has reached almost 5,000 youth throughout the Southwest Region, Great River, Tennessee, North Carolina, Indiana, Kansas City, Maryland, and Kentucky Regions. Our Whole Lives – A Lifespan Sexuality Education Curricula Our Whole Lives is a series of sexuality education curricula for six age groups: grades K-1, grades 4-6, grades 7-9, grades 10-12, young adults (ages 18-35), and adults. It was jointly developed by the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations and the United Church of Christ

Our Whole Lives helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, Our Whole Lives provides not only facts about anatomy and human development, but helps participants to clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.
