The Auditors of the Town of Weslport respectfully sub- mit the following report of the financial condition of the town for the year ending February i, 1900. We have examined the vouchers of the several depart- ments and compared them with the entries in the treasur- er's book finding his accounts correct. Our debt in notes and interest, shows an increase for the past year of :f^3,oi7.ii. The amount of debt falling due the present year is $12,000.00 which will require an appropriation of $13, 500.00 for the payment of notes and interest. There is a balance in the treasur}' of $104.15 due the department of Howland and Davis vs. Westport, which we recommend that the town transfer, at the annual meet- ing, to the department of Incidentals.
