Fel y cadarnhawyd bydd angen ystyried unrhyw feysydd polisi newydd yn yr Adolygiad Ffurf Fer. (Cadw)/ Historic Environment Service (Cadw) Cynllun Datblygu Lleol Eryri Adolygiad Ffurf Fer - Asesiad Amgylcheddol Strategol ac Arfarniad Cynaliadwyedd Cyfrol 2 5 Atodiad B Adolygiad o’r Cynlluniau, Polisïau a’r Rhaglenni Perthnasol Cynllun Datblygu Lleol Eryri Adolygiad Ffurf Fer - Asesiad Amgylcheddol Strategol ac Arfarniad Cynaliadwyedd Cyfrol 2 6 Adolygiad o’r Cynlluniau, Polisïau a’r Rhaglenni Perthnasol PPPs Rhyngwladol Amcanion, targedau, dangosyddion Goblygiadau i’r CDLl ac i’r broses SA Protocol Kyoto i Gonfensiwn Fframwaith y Cenhedloedd Uniedig (CU) ar Newid Hinsawdd (199 2) Trwy arwyddo i Brotocol Kyoto 1997, mae 38 o wledydd (yn ogystal â’r UE) wedi ymrwymo i dargedau unigol gyda rhwymedigaeth cyfreithiol fydd yn gosod terfyn neu yn lleihau eu hallyriadau nwyon tŷ gwydr. Mae’r targedau hyn yn golygu gostyngiad fan leiaf o 5% ar lefelau 1990 yn ystod y cyfnod ymroddiad 2008-2012. Mae’r DU wedi ymrwymo i ostyngiad o 8% (blwyddyn sylfaen = 1990). Trefnwyd y cytundeb yn ystod 21ain Gynhadledd aelodau’r UNFCCC ym Mharis a mabwysiadwyd ef trwy gonsensws ar 12 Rhagfyr 2015, ond nid yw wedi dod i rym. Bydd gwledydd hefyd yn anelu at gyrraedd "brig yr allyriadau nwyon tŷ gwydr cyn gynted ag sydd bosibl". Cyfarwyddeb yr UE ar Ddiogelu Bywyd Gwyllt a Flora a Ffawna yn Ewrop (92/43/EEC) Mae’r Gyfarwyddeb Cynefinoedd yn ddarn pwysig o’r ddeddfwriaeth Ewropeaidd gyda’r nod o gyfrannu tuag at ddiogelu bioamrywiaeth – amrywiaeth bywyd – trwy ddiogelu cynefinoedd naturiol a phlanhigion ac anifeiliaid gwyllt. Gan gydnabod bod cynefinoedd bywyd gwyllt dan bwysau o gyfeiriad y gofynion cynyddol a wneir ar yr amgylchedd, mae’r Gyfarwyddeb yn darparu ar gyfer creu rhwydwaith o ardaloedd wedi eu diogelu ar draws yr Undeb Ewropeaidd, a’u galw yn safleoedd ‘Natura 2000’ . Bydd y rhwydwaith hon yn cynnwys SACs a SPAs, sydd, ar y tir, eisoes yn Safleoedd o Ddiddordeb Gwyddonol Arbennig (So DdGA). Introduction Arcadis has been commissioned by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) to produce a Flood Consequences Assessment (FCA) to support the design of a new lowered spillway to facilitate the discontinuance of the Prince Llewelyn Reservoir. NRW owns Prince Llewelyn Reservoir which is located in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. This small raised reservoir has a capacity of less than 10,000m3 and is therefore not subject to statutory safety requirements under the Reservoirs Act 1975 (as amended by the Flood and Water Management Act 2010). Nevertheless, NRW considers the reservoir to be a high priority site and is consequently treating it in the spirit of the Act (NRW, 2016). As a result, NRW commissioned a flood study (undertaken in accordance with the fourth edition of Floods and Reservoir Safety (ICE, 2015)) and reservoir inundation mapping (undertaken in accordance with Environment Agency’s (EA, 2016) Reservoir Flood Mapping (RFM) Specification Version 1.0.1) for the reservoir. The flood study (Arcadis, 2018a) concluded that the reservoir does not meet the required safety standards for a Category A/B dam (the findings of the reservoir inundation mapping (Arcadis, 2018b) appear to support the categorisation of the reservoir as category B). In particular, there is zero freeboard and insufficient spillway capacity during both the Design Flood and the Safety Check Flood. Following the production of the flood study, a further study (Arcadis, 2019a) was carried out to support the development of a new lowered spillway design (the Scheme) to meet the recommended safety standards.

Bats avoided rough and cluttered water areas, as rapids may generate high‐frequency echolocation‐interfering noise and cluttered areas present obstacles to flight. In lower river regions, detections of bats reflected the proportion of suitable habitat available. At higher elevations, suf‐ ficient habitat was available; however, bats were likely restricted due to other factors such as a less predictable food source. This study emphasizes the importance of ri‐ parian habitat, bank‐side trees, and smooth water as foraging habitat for bats in mar‐ ginal upland areas until a certain elevation, beyond which bats in these areas likely cease to forage.

It includes a series of peaks - Moel Wnion, Drosgl, Foel Ganol, Pen y Castell, Drum, Carnedd Gwenllian, Tal y Fan and Conwy Mountain rising between 600 and 940m AOD. The area extends from Bethesda (which is located outside the National Park boundary) in the west to the western flanks of the Conwy valley in the east.
