presentation of the portrait and its Mrs. Barbara Feingold, former Governor placement in the Rotunda follow a Rick Perry, Dr. Jeffrey Feingold long-standing tradition honoring the state’s governors.

Former Governor Perry serves as a Director on the MCNA Insurance Company Board of Directors. He was the longest serving governor in the history of Texas, serving from December 2000 to January 2015. He left office to pursue the presidential candidacy and has since become an important conservative leader in national politics.
