Brewery Museum Experience the Story of Beer. The tour of the Brewery Museum allows your clients to experience the story of beer from the ancient times to the present day. The uniquely preserved building with brewing rights is permeated by the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Its entertaining and informative exposition will delight lovers of history and the beer brewing process.

Pilsen Historic Underground

Discover Life beneath the city. The Pilsen Historic Underground, a labyrinth of passageways, cellars and wells, was built underneath the centre of the city starting in the 14th century and was an integral part of Pilsen then and, still is now. Learn more about life beneath the city and discover the secrets behind the authentic finds and hideaways concealed in the underground.

• The labyrinth of the sightseeing tour is nearly 800 metres long • History and function of the Pilsen Historic Underground • Archaeological discoveries from medieval wells • Learning about everyday life during medieval times • Tour of the city water tower with waterwheel • The tour includes a tasting of Master semi-dark speciality beer For safety reasons children under 3 years old are not allowed to enter. Visitors are required to wear a helmet (we provide hygienic hairnets). For safety reasons, it is not advisable to wear shoes with high and narrow heels when entering the premises. The tour is suitable for minors.

Na Spilce Restaurant

We recommend a visit to the Pilsner Urquell brewery be rounded off with a sit-down in the stylish Na Spilce Restaurant with its range of the traditional Czech cuisine and great beers from the portfolio of the brewery. The restaurant is located in the former fermentation cellar (“spilka” in Czech), directly on the grounds of the Pilsner Urquell brewery, and is the largest beer house in , with a seating capacity of 550. Every day from April to the end of September, weather permitting you can sit outside in the garden restaurant located in the courtyard of the brewery.

The guests have unlimited consummation for a flat rate 264,- CZK/pp durin 90 minutes (beer, meat and bread) In this rate is included beer Pilsner Urquell, which you tap by yourselves, roasted meats according to daily offer and bread. This meat is rerved: 1st 1/2 hour-unlimited concummation of pork ribs, 2nd 1/2 hour-unlimited consummation od chicken meat, 3rd 1/2 hour-unlimited consummation od roasted pork knee without bones. The sorts of meats is not possible to change.

Historic centre of Pilsen Tour is approximately 60 - 90 minutes and can be done in English. The price does not include entrance to historical sites. Tour guide – price 1.500,- CZK

Pilsen - Metropolis of West Bohemia. Since its foundation in 1295, City of Pilsen has naturally become a cultural and economic centre of the West Bohemia. Nowadays, Pilsen with its 165 000 inhabitants covers an area of 138 square kilometres and it is easily accessible by the D5 motorway. The city came to prominence in the middle of the 19th century when the Škoda Works Company and the Pilsner Urquell brewery were founded. Nowadays, the industrial potential of the city concentrates on value added production and the so called knowledge economy projects. The Municipal Industrial Park Borská Pole (Bory Fields) is a major attractive locality for this type of investments. Many district and regional institutions reside in the city, among them about forty secondary schools and apprenticeship training colleges, the University of West Bohemia and the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. The city centre with its many historical landmarks has been declared a protected historic area. Many of the buildings rank among true gems of architecture, namely the - 7 -

Cathedral of St. Bartholomew (a listed building), the Renaissance City Hall, the Great Synagogue or the sgrafitti by Mikoláš Aleš on the front facades of burgher houses. Favourite tourist destinations include, apart from the world renowned Pilsner Urquell brewery, also the ZOO and Botanical Gardens and the adjacent DinoPark. The J. K. Tyl Theatre as well as the Alfa Theatre feature prominently among the highlights of Pilsen cultural life, together with about twenty galleries and various multigenre and alternative cultural projects.
