Liste Commentée Des Pentatomoidea De La Manche
Liste commentée des Pentatomoidea de la Manche Deuxième partie : les Pentatominae Cet article constitue donc le deuxième volet de l’inventaire provisoire des pentatomoïdes de la Manche. Le premier, rappelons-le, paru dans L’Argiope 73 (LIVORY , 2011) traitait les Acanthosomatidae, les Cydnidae, les Thyreocoridae, les Scutelleridae et deux sous-familles de Pentatomidae, les Podopinae et les Asopinae. Nous terminons ce recensement avec la sous-famille des Pentatominae. Avant de poursuivre notre énumération, je voudrais rendre hommage à Jean PÉRI C ART (1928-2011) qui nous a quittés l’année passée. Cet éminent entomologiste avait rédigé la plupart des ouvrages de la Faune de France consacrés aux punaises, soit comme auteur unique soit en tant que co-auteur. Les travaux de PÉRI C ART sur les hétéroptères ont une valeur immense et une portée internationale. Les volumes sur les pentatomoïdes étaient en cours de parution et sur les cinq prévus, seuls deux actuellement ont vu le jour. Nous espérons que la disparition de cet auteur n’empêchera pas la poursuite de cette publication et qu’elle conservera le même niveau scientifique. Sous-famille des Pentatominae Ces punaises possèdent un scutellum triangulaire qui ne dépasse guère en arrière le milieu de l’abdomen, ce qui les distingue nettement des Podopinae. Le rostre est mince et atteint au moins les hanches moyennes. Son premier article est logé dans un sillon qui occupe toute la longueur de la tête. Ce caractère sépare sans ambiguïté les Pentatominae des Asopinae. La 28 Bull. trim. ass. Manche-Nature, L’Argiope N° 76-77 (2012) plupart des Pentatominae sont phytophages mais quelques-uns complètent ce régime par une nourriture animale. -

Packauskas1 Abstract Forty eight species of Pentatomidae are listed as occurring in the state of Kansas, nine of these are new state records. A key to all species known from the state of Kansas is given, along with some notes on new state records. ____________________ The family Pentatomidae, comprised of mainly phytophagous and a few predaceous species, is one of the largest families of Heteroptera. Some of the phytophagous species have a wide host range and this ability may make them the most economically important family among the Heteroptera (Panizzi et al. 2000). As a group, they have been found feeding on cotton, nuts, fruits, veg- etables, legumes, and grain crops (McPherson 1982, McPherson and McPherson 2000, Panizzi et al 2000). -

Faunistic research of true bugs (Heteroptera) in the Kokořínsko Protected Landsape Area (PLA) received only little attention in the past (data on only 22 species were published). Here, we summarize both published and comprehensive recent faunistic data on the true bugs occurring in the PLA. The heteropteran fauna of the PLA Kokořínsko now comprises 305 species (35.6% of species occurring in the Czech Republic) and is characterized by the occurrence of rare species living in well preserved xerothermic or wetland habitats. The observed species richness is slightly higher than that of similarly studied protected areas in the Czech Republic. The Biology of the Predator Complex of the Filbert Aphid, Myzocallis Coryli

Messing for the degree of Master of Science in Entomology presented in July 1982 Title: The Biology of the Predator Complex of the Filbert Aphid, Myzocallis coryli (Goetze) in Western Oregon. Abstract approved: Redacted for Privacy M. T. AliNiiee Commercial filbert orchards throughout the Willamette Valley were surveyed for natural enemies of the filbert aphid, Myzocallis coryli (Goetze). A large number of predaceous insects were found to prey upon M. coryli, particularly members of the families Coccinellidae, Miridae, Chrysopidae, Hemerobiidae, and Syrphidae. Also, a parasitic Hymenopteran (Mesidiopsis sp.) and a fungal pathogen (Triplosporium fresenii) were found to attack this aphid species. Populations of major predators were monitored closely during 1981 to determine phenology and synchrony with aphid populations and to determine their relative importance. Adalia bipunctata, Deraeocoris brevis, Chrysopa sp. and Hemerobius sp. were found to be extremely well synchronized with aphid population development cycles. Laboratory feeding trials demonstrated that all 4 predaceous insects tested (Deraeocoris brevis, Heterotoma meriopterum, Compsidolon salicellum and Adalia bipunctata) had a severe impact upon filbert aphid population growth. A. bipunctata was more voracious than the other 3 species, but could not live as long in the absence of aphid prey. Several insecticides were tested both in the laboratory and field to determine their relative toxicity to filbert aphids and the major natural enemies. Field tests showed Metasystox-R to be the most effective against filbert aphids, while Diazinon, Systox, Zolone, and Thiodan were moderately effective. Sevin was relatively ineffective. All insecticides tested in the field severely disrupted the predator complex. -

Die Rindenwanzen des Nationalparks Gesäuse werden vorgestellt und mit Blick auf ihre Eignung als Indikatoren natürlicher Waldentwicklung diskutiert. Aus dem Untersuchungsgebiet sind bisher elf Arten bekannt: Aneurus avenius (DU F OUR , 1833), Aradus betulae (LINNAEUS , 1758), A. betulinus FALLÉN , 1807, A. cinnamomeus PAN - ZER, 1806, A. conspicuus HERRIC H -SC H AE ff ER, 1835, A. corticalis (LINNAEUS , 1758), Aradus depressus depressus (FABRICIUS, 1794), A. erosus FALLÉN , 1807, A. lugubris FALLÉN , 1807, A. obtectus VÁSÁR H EL Y I , 1988 und A. versicolor HERRIC H -SC H AE ff ER, 1835. Dargestellt werden die jeweiligen Fundorte und Fundhabitate im Nationalpark anhand historischer und re- zent erhobener Daten. Im Rahmen einer im Jahr 2017 durchgeführten, zeit-standardi- sierten Kartierung wurden an 42 verschiedenen Standorten unter anderem Baumart, Totholztyp, Holzdimensionsklasse, Holzzersetzungsgrad, Holzfeuchtegrad, Beschat- tung, Mikrohabitat und Pilzfruchtkörper notiert. Auf Basis dieser Daten wird die ökolo- gische Einnischung von Aradiden im Gesäuse abgeleitet und im Weiteren werden Charak ter- und Zielarten festgelegt. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass mehrere Rindenwanzen- arten im Nationalpark ab einem bestimmten Stadium der Waldentwicklung und der da- mit verfügbaren Totholzqualitäten auftreten. Entscheidend ist das Vorhandensein von Totholz in stärkerer Dimension (> 30 cm Durchmesser) und in den fortgeschrittenen Zerfallsphasen. -
