Some of the most well-known bands in the industry, like Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Glassjaw, and Envy on the Coast, were born in basements and garages all over Nassau and Suffolk County. They have become a spitting image of the successful music that brews here but now it’s time to let the next generation shine. From States Away @FromStatesAway_ Pop Punk For fans of: Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, Taking Back Sunday It all began when Salvatore Salemme and Bennett Pisaniello started playing together just for fun. They wrote a couple of songs and went through a few lineup changes before officially becoming From States Away. Now with Scott Gunter, Chris Lauletti, and Brendan Beebe, the coolest part about these boys is their varied tastes in music. It ranges from The Wonder Years, Real Friends and Bayside to Young Thug and Kanye West.
