The Choir also performs Hear the world premiere of Jonathan Dove’s new community , regularly for the local community as part of the Whitecross Street Party. The Monster in the Maze, which tells the story of Theseus’ rescue of young Athenians sent to Crete as a sacrifice to the Minotaur. The Community Choir is open to people who live or work in EC1. There is no audition process but there is currently a waiting list. Thea Wilson Nissa Khaliq-Rattray Luba Wilson-Max Natasha Merchant Georgia Kinsella Judah Olajide Ebenezer Poku LUCY GRIFFITHS Lucy Griffiths is a conductor, workshop leader, and animateur, and is Assistant Director of Music at the University of Warwick, where she motivates music-making amongst students, staff and the local community. An expert in music education, she was formerly Director of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Training Choirs and lectured in choral conducting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

DAVID LAWRENCE David Lawrence is one of the UK’s most versatile conductors, working with orchestras, symphony choruses and youth choirs, both in the UK and internationally.
