Kashyap’s movies create a woman in freehold, a wild spirit truly living its own breath. She demands, craves, yearns and fights, does whatever is required to keep him individualism and belief intact. The movies like Dev D, Gulaal, Gangs of Wasseypur and Manmarziyaan bring about a wide variety of treatment of the female characters.
