It is based on the Environmental Final Governing Standards - Germany (FGS- FRG), November 1994. The research was performed for the Headquarters, United States Air Forces, Europe (HQ USAFE), under Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) number NL98-161, dated 03 December 1997, and for the United States Army Environmental Center (USAEC), under MIPR number 8234, dated 25 February 1998. The HQ USAFE technical monitor was Capt Duane Meighan, HQ USAFE/CEVC; the USAEC technical monitor was Mr. Matthew Andrews, SFIM-AEC-EQP. The research was performed by the Planning and Management Laboratory, Environmental Processes Division (PL- N), of the U.S. Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (USACERL). For any specific questions about, or interpretations of, the legal references herein, consult appropriate counsel. ii MANUAL OBJECTIVES AND ORGANIZATION The OCONUS Compliance Assessment Protocols (OCAP) for the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) provides checklists to be used during a Department of Defense (DOD) environment compliance assessment in that country. This manual and the appropriate service-specific supplement together serve as primary auditing tools. Specifically, OCAP-FRG is based on the Environmental Final Governing Standards--Germany (FGS-FRG), November 1994, and other relevant and OCONUS-applicable DOD documents. Supposedly they were either erroneously determinated or incorrect noted from the region under consideration since Eversmann 's work. 289 species are recorded from the re­ gion in addition to Eversmann 's list. This paper is the fifth in a series of publications1 dealing with the composition of the pres­ ent-day fauna of noctuid-moths in the Middle Volga and the south-western Cisurals. This re­ gion comprises the administrative divisions of the Astrakhan, Volgograd, Saratov, Samara, Uljanovsk, Orenburg, Uralsk and Atyraus (= Gurjev) Districts, together with Tataria and Bash­ kiria. Despite the proximity of Sredna Gora Mountains to Sofia, the insect assemblages of this region are poorly studied. As a result of two studies carried out as a part of an Environmental Impact Assessment in the Natura 2000 Protected Areas: Sredna Gora and Popintsi, a rich diversity of insects was discovered, with 107 saproxylic and epigeobiont Coleoptera species and 355 Lepidoptera species recorded. This research was conducted during a short one-season field study in the surrounding areas of the town of Panagyurishte and Oborishte Village. Special attention was paid to protected species and their conservation status. Of the Coleoptera recorded, 22 species were of conservation significance. Forty-five Lepidoptera species of conservation importance were also recorded. KEY WORDS.WORDS. Seven species (Dahlica triquetrella (Hübner, 1813), Xanthorhoe designata (Hufnagel, 1767), Eupithecia inturbata (Hübner, 1817), Plusia festucae (Linnaeus, 1758), Calamia tridens (Hufnagel, 1766), Polymixis polymita (Linnaeus, 1761), Agrotis syricola Berio, 1936) are new for Southern Italy, 15 taxa were the first time recorded in Puglia, 87 in Campania, 10 in Basilicata and 20 in Calabria. The great amount of faunistic news underlines the high species richness of Southern Italy, a large amount of which is to date unknown. Key Words: Macrolepidoptera, faunistic reports, Southern Italy. INTRODUZIONE Le recenti ricerche condotte sui Lepidotteri nelle regioni meridionali dell’Italia continentale hanno notevolmente incrementato il patrimonio faunistico, contribuendo a delineare in modo più dettagliato il profilo biogeografico del territorio. La notevole ricchezza biocenotica, unitamente all’ininterrotto periodo di volo dei lepidotteri, soprattutto nelle aree costiere, fanno sì che solo una limitata porzione della variabilità ambientale sia stata finora campionata in modo esauriente. Heppner) began already in first begun in 1911. The original catalog series was published by 1989 with publication of the catalog of Noctuidae, by R. Poole. W. Junk Publishers of Berlin, Germany (later The Hague, E. J. Brill Publishers, of Leiden, Netherlands, published this first Netherlands), continuing until 1939 when the incomplete series fascicle in 3 volumes, covering already about a third of all known was deactivated due to World War II. INTRODUCTION The fauna of noctuoid moths (the families Erebidae and Noctuidae) of Kazakhstan is still poorly studied. Only the fauna of West Kazakhstan has been studied satisfactorily (Gorbunov 2011). On the faunas of other parts of the country, only fragmentary data are published (Lederer, 1853; 1855; Aibasov & Zhdanko 1982; Hacker & Peks 1990; Lehmann et al. 1998; Benedek & Bálint 2009; 2013; Korb 2013). In contrast to the West Kazakhstan, the fauna of noctuid moths of East Kazakhstan was studied inadequately.

    The Noctuidae (Lepidoptera) of the Daghestan Republic (Russia) Poltavsky Alexander Nikolaevitch & Ilyina Elena Vjatcheslavovna Abstract. In this paper the complete list of Noctuidae currently known from Daghestan, the largest republic in the North Caucasus, is given. The list comprises 343 species and includes original data of the authors, records from the two main national collections in Russia, and some data from a few publications. Noctuidae were recorded from 37 localities in Daghestan, situated in the five natural zones of the country. The time interval of the faunistic studies spreads through the main part of the 20th Century: from 1926 to 2000. Samenvatting. De Noctuidae (Lepidoptera) van de Republiek Daghestan (Rusland) Dit artikel bevat de volledige lijst van de 343 soorten Noctuidae die tot op heden bekend zijn uit Daghestan, de grootste republiek in de Noord-Kaukasus. De lijst werd samengesteld met persoonlijke waarnemingen van de auteurs, gegevens uit de twee belangrijkste verzamelingen in Rusland en enkele gepubliceerde gegevens. Noctuidae werden op 37 plaatsen verzameld in Daghestan, gelegen in de 5 natuurlijke gebieden van het land. De waarnemingen stammen uit een grote tijdspanne in de 20ste eeuw: van 1926 tot 2000. The list of species is based on historical bibliographic data along with new material collected by other entomologists in the last few decades. A total of 207 species belonging to the families Cossidae (3 species), Drepanidae (4 species), Lasiocampidae (7 species), Limacodidae (1 species), Saturniidae (2 species), Sphingidae (5 species), Brahmaeidae (1 species), Geometridae (55 species), Notodontidae (5 species), Nolidae (3 species), Euteliidae (1 species), Noctuidae (96 species), and Erebidae (24 species) were identified.
