    WORLD-WIDE WRESTLING PARTICIPATION IN THE OLYMPIC GAMES AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS Report prepared by Dr. David Curby (USA)-FILA Scientific Department One of the major themes used by the IOC in their decision-making process is their document entitled: EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR SPORTS AND DISCIPLINES – 2012. World-wide participation is a major component of the theme of “UNIVERSALITY.” The criteria for evaluation are listed from this document, along with the objective data for wrestling (listed in red).     Boletín 3 Abril 2015 Boletín 3 Página 2 100 días para Toronto Sara Rosario, Presidenta Comité Olímpico de Puerto Rico @Saramrosario Todavía tengo en mi fresca memoria los días intensos de Veracruz, los fuertes vientos del norte, la temperatura tan variada, los triunfos y derrotas de los nuestros, los tacos al pastor y la linda gente mexicana que con tanto amor nos hizo sentir como en casa. Hoy estamos a tan solo 100 días del inicio de los Juegos Panamericanos Toronto 2015 e inicia el conteo regresivo para lo que será el mejor evento deportivo de América. ¡Parada importante antes de Rio 2016! El que piense que 100 días es mucho tiempo está equivocado. Ya comenzamos a sentir la ansiedad de los últimos tres meses de preparación, afinando cada detalle con la vestimenta, transporte aéreo, etapa final de entrenamiento, actividades protocolares, COPUR producción de televisión, acreditaciones, inscripciones, etcétera. La etapa de preparación de los atletas es donde en el nuestros, y Dios permita que algunos regresen con Comité Olímpico vamos a enfatizar. Amy won the race in Moscow when she outsprinted a pack of 18 girls. It was Amy’s second medal at the championships after winning a silver medal in the 2000m Indi- vidual Pursuit two days earlier. Amy quali- fied in second place in a personal best time of 2.25. In the gold and silver ride-off Amy was beat- Chairman’s Report 5 en by her Australian team-mate Michaela Anderson, of Western Australia, making it an Australian one-two. Peter Loft also returned to Tasmania from Moscow with a World Championship silver medal in the team pursuit. In the qualifying round Peter and his team- mates qualified in first position and in the process broke the junior world record in a blistering time of 4.05.
