Kindred has finally struck. In his efforts to torment Spider-Man, the mysterious villain turned Peter’s Spider- Friends into his demonic puppets and threatened to make them tear each other apart. Peter pleaded for their lives--in exchange for his own. Kindred took the deal, and after freeing the other Spider-Heroes from his control, he killed Spider-Man.

In death, Peter found himself trapped inside his own memories…until Kindred violently dragged him back to the world of the living. It was then that the villain removed his mask, and Peter discovered that Kindred was really his old friend Harry Osborn!
