1.) Your Malacca day trip first stop is Saint Peter Church. The church was built-in 1710 by Portuguese people with support and contribution from Dutch community. The oldest part of the Church is the bell. The bell was cast in India dated 1608. 2.) The Maritime Museum ,The giant replica of the Portuguese Galleon is certainly an eye-catcher. The huge wooden ship was built in the early 1990s and is patterned on the Portuguese galleons that took control of Melaka in the early sixteenth century. The real Flor de La Mar sank off the coast of Sumatra in 1511 while carrying a load of treasure from Melaka back to Portugal. While relatively authentic on the outside, the interior of the ship has been designed around the museum exhibits, which cover the early Portuguese period of Melaka's history as a center of trade in . 3.) A’Famosa Fort - Portuguese built the fortress in 1521 known as to protect them from attack by Sultan of Malacca and local people to seize Malacca. When Dutch took over Malacca they rebuilt the fortress become thicker and higher. During the Dutch revolution British took over controlling Malacca temporary and worry the fortress will be use by French they decided to demolished it. 4.) Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum built in 1896, restored houses arranged to resemble a conventional 19th-century Baba-Nyonya residence. Excellent examples of Chinese-Palladian style, these townhouses were transformed into a traditional Peranakan museum in later years; connected by a common covered footway, the museum features hand-painted tiles, elaborately carved teakwood outer swing doors and a sturdier internal door which provides extra security. 5.) - Historical records reveal that ’s Admiral Cheng Ho () visited Melaka (Malacca) at least five times during his famous seven voyages to the Western Ocean (Southeast Asia, , Middle East and Africa). He set up a huge warehouse complex along the northern side of the Melaka River. Thus far, there has been no serious investigation made on this fascinating topic. Some people claim that Zheng He’s warehouse was located in because there is a Sampo (or San Bao referring to Cheng Ho) well and the area is named Sampo Hill. However, many others do not agree. The exact location of Cheng Ho’s warehouse is certainly worth serious study. 6.) Melaka Sultanate Palace - During the golden age Government, apart from the fame part of Malacca. Its was built by Kapitan Tay Kie Ki in 1645. The temple was heavily influenced by architectural style and craftsmanship of Southern Chinese, mainly from Fujian and Guangdong. Besides Kapitan Tay Kie Ki, others Kapitan such Kapitan Lee Wei King, Kapitan Chan Lak Kua and Kapitan Chua Su Cheong also contribute to the construction of this temple. This temple consists few prayer room, the biggest prayer halls dedicated to god of mercy ”Kuan Yi”. 10.) Jonker Street - Our Malacca day trip from itinerary is privately organized.
