FINCANTIERI: DOUBLE ORDER FROM CARNIVAL Trieste, 19th December 2014 - Fincantieri has been awarded an order by Carnival Corporation & plc for the construction of two new cruise ships for Carnival Cruise Line and Holland America Line. Both will be sisters ships respectively to “Carnival Vista” and “Koningsdam”, currently under construction at Fincantieri shipyards. The Carnival Cruise Line ship, the 26th unit in line’s fleet, with a gross tonnage of 133,500 tonnes, will have capacity for 3,954 passengers and will enter service in the spring 2018. The Holland America Line ship, a second Pinnacle class unit, will have a gross tonnage of 99,500 tonnes and accommodation for 2,650 passengers and will be delivered in autumn 2018. Giuseppe Bono, CEO of Fincantieri, stated: “To have been once more chosen for such an important order is the best recognition for our skills. This is an extremely important sign, especially if we consider the shipbuilding industry’s present period of evolution, both in Europe and Asia. Today Fincantieri can count on a solid order book, without equal in terms of diversification and quality of the product, which is a testament to our leadership in the cruise ship business sector. CRUISE SHIP LOCATIONS 16 MAY 2021 Compiled by Mike Pryce, Wellington NZ (Information believed correct at this date. Compiled from various sources and internet AIS, especially www.cruisemapper.com. Excludes ferries and cruise ferries. Many cruise ships have been in “warm” lay-up, when they have periodically moved from their berths or anchorages and gone for short voyages locally to give their engines and equipment “a run”, and including production of freshwater, before returning to lay-up. Ships at anchor periodically need to berth to take onboard fuel, food, provisions and other supplies. Some inter-ship crew transfers at sea are being made, outside port limits. With the resumption of “normal” cruising looking very uncertain in many countries in the near future, more cruise ships are likely to move to “cold” lay-up until the situation becomes clearer, whilst others go into shipyards for overhauls and surveys. Many cruise ships have been in lay-up for over a year, as the initial “pause” has been continually extended due to more Covid-19 outbreaks, and many financial assumptions made on the expectation of an initial two-months lockdown have needed reviewing. This has resulted in many recent sales of older ships, and limited cruising in the Mediterranean and Europe, where these areas are being affected by sporadic outbreaks in Covid-19 infections. The largest concentration of laid-up cruise ships is on the Bahamas Banks (east of Miami and south of Freeport) A large number of cruise ships are anchored off the south coast of England, west of Southampton. Another large group are anchored in the South China Sea, NE of Singapore. -

Strategic Report and IFRS Financial Statements Year Ended November 30, 2014 The Annual Report of Carnival plc comprises the Strategic Report and Carnival plc consolidated and company IFRS Financial Statements contained herein, together with certain parts of the Proxy Statement (including its Annexes), dated February 20, 2015. The Carnival plc consolidated IFRS Financial Statements, which are required to satisfy reporting requirements of the Companies Act 2006, incorporate the results of Carnival plc and its subsidiaries and, accordingly, do not include the IFRS consolidated results and financial position of Carnival Corporation and its subsidiaries. However, the Directors consider that, within the Carnival Corporation and Carnival plc dual listed company (“DLC”) arrangement, the most appropriate presentation of Carnival plc’s results and financial position is by reference to the Carnival Corporation & plc U.S. GAAP consolidated financial statements (“DLC Financial Statements”). The DLC Financial Statements are included in the Carnival Corporation & plc 2014 Annual Report (“DLC Annual Report”), which is prepared to satisfy U.S. reporting requirements. PRINCESS CRUISE LINES, LTD., Defendant. _______________________________/ PLEA AGREEMENT The United States of America, by and through the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, and the Environmental Crimes Section (“ECS”) of the United States Department of Justice (collectively referred to herein as the “government”), and Defendant, Princess Cruise Lines, Ltd. (“Defendant”), by and through their authorized representatives, enter into the following Plea Agreement (“Agreement”) pursuant to Rule 11(c)(1)(C) and Rule 11(c)(3) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure: 1. Waiver of Indictment and Criminal Charges. Defendant, having been advised through its representative of the right to be charged by Indictment, agrees to waive that right and enter pleas of guilty to the charges brought by the government in the Criminal Information filed against it in the Southern District of Florida and as set forth below. The guilty plea is to be entered by Defendant through a senior corporate officer acceptable to the government who is authorized by resolutions by Defendant and Defendant’s parent corporation, Carnival Corporation, to enter pleas of guilty on Defendant’s behalf and to appear and represent Defendant at the plea hearing and at the sentencing hearing in the Southern District of Florida. PORT OF GALVESTON 2017 YEAR IN REVIEW CRUISING ALONG Phoenix Reisen’s Amadea The Port of Galveston is Texas’ No. 1 Cruise Port and ranks as the fourth busiest cruise port in North America. It is one of the top 20 cruise homeports in the world. Cruise volume is growing consistently. The Port of Galveston embarked about 933,819 passengers in 2017 due to the largest-ever capacity commitment by the cruise industry to Texas. These deployments are expected to carry more than 1,034,000 passengers in 2018. Total sailings increased from 235 in 2016 to 255 in 2017 and are projected to be 308 this year. The state of Texas receives annual economic benefits from 600 passengers and 200 crew members on board.
