Thedirectory does not contain a complete listing of all Educational .. Data Processing installationswithin the CEMREL region. It is onlyas com- plete as the returns from the survey questionnaire make it. A total of 1069 survey question- naires weremailed to educational in- stitutionswithin or adjacent to the CEMREL region. This included Colleges, Universities, School Districts, and the State Departments of Education of Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, and Tennessee. Completedquestionnaires were received from 452 institutions, representing a 42% return of question- naires mailed. Of the452 returns received, 69 institutions indicated they possessed data processing equipment. These 69 installations are shown on the follow- ing pages. The purpose of publishing this di- rectory is to aid those who have an ed- ucational data processing problem find answers through communicating with others whomay have faced ihe same problems and whohave experience and capability.
