THIS IS THE HOUSE ROCK BUILT We’re not your typical creative agency. We’re an idea collective. A house of thought and execution. We’re a grab bag of innovators, illustrators, designers and rockstars who are always in pursuit of the big idea! Our building, which was one of the last record stores in America, serves as a playground for our creative minds to frolic and thrive. This is not a design firm. It’s something new and forward-thinking. It’s about going beyond design and messaging. It’s about forging game-changing ideas and harvesting epic results. It’s about YOU.

© 2019 U! Creative, Inc. WHAT MAKES U! UNIQUE WIth U! Creative, clients receive so much more than the efforts of one or two staff members. Our team-centric approach leverages the unique talents and disciplines of many experts working in concert, rising to a level far above what any one person or skill set could accomplish on their own.

Frequent brainstorm sessions weave through approaches from outlandish to playful to sophisticated to unexpected as problems are explored from all angles, and solutions converge at the core of a myriad of variables and moving parts. The results are strategic initiatives that connect on many levels and resonate like no other.

We’ll approach your challenges holistically, going beyond marketing to helping you build in revenue generators along the way, all the while staying true to your core mission.

We also recognize that you’re the experts at what you do, too, so our efforts are always a collaborative effort that we build together, ensuring that every message, image and touchpoint is always true to U! YOU’RE AN ORIGINAL… and so are we! • We deliver 100% original art, created by 100% original artists. • Our team of designers, illustrators and hand lettering artists bring 100% authenticity and original composition to your brand... not clip-art. • Our team exhibits in the legendary Gallery1988 on Melrose and have been featured prominently in the annual CRAZY4CULT show that LAist calls ‘The Most Famous Art Show in Los Angeles’. ORIGINAL • Together we ensure that each and every extension of your brand exudes authenticity and originality.

© 2019 U! Creative, Inc. Our philosophy is that if at first you can outsmart the competition, eventually you will be able to outspend them. When it comes to branding and marketing we have worked with large budgets, small budgets and in some cases no budgets. In all cases, we first develop a strategic plan that serves as our success manual.

For some clients, we generate that plan out of a small set of key facts about the brand, the offering and HOLISTIC the target audience. For other clients we conduct an array of front end market initiatives research to help protect your marketing investment, whether performing primary research, surveys and focus groups or compiling and teasing out critical data through secondary research. Learning what data you already have at your disposal will help us determine the appropriate recommendation for you. APPROACH In the end, our insight stems from thinking comprehensively about a brand from the consumer’s point of view. Working from formal and informal methodologies, we can then develop communications strategies that deliver both short and long-term results. This combination of insight and strategy allows us to view communications more broadly than simply media-delivered messages by planning what a brand will communicate at each contact or touch point and ultimately deliver measured results.

© 2019 U! Creative, Inc. TIMELINES + DELIVERY The methodology we leverage ensures the efficient workflow and high caliber results that clients depend on.

Whenever possible, we target early delivery to help compensate for any delays in feedback or changes in direction along the way.

With this in mind, we work backward from the desired delivery date and any other important milestones to create a scheduled timetable that ensures on-time launch. Deadlines for all parties are included in the timetable, and any deviation results in an update to the schedule to compensate and keep the project moving full steam ahead.

© 2019 U! Creative, Inc. THE REVERSE RETAINER

We believe in finding creative solutions to problems no one else has solved, so we applied that process to reinvent the retainer model to make it a bigger win for our clients. On the outset selects a desired level of monthly engagement at a reduced hourly rate. But it’s from this point where things get interesting and our “Reverse Retainer” becomes a game changer.

Your Time Is Money The traditional retainer is built around a “use them or lose them” mindset, so unused hours are typically lost, and overage hours escalate back up to the house rate. This forces clients to either “pay to play,” or hold on to their projects until the next months hours begin. But at U! rather than penalizing clients when they need extra hours in a given month, our discounted retainer rate discounts even further… creating additional revenue to accomplish everything on your “wish list.” So the more you use U! the more YOU win!

Everything Is In Scope As you know, there are always additional projects that develop or on occasion change in scope, so the way we see it… your hours can be used however you wish.

We Can Roll With It Our model also allows unused hours to rollover to the following month as well as be banked for larger projects in the future for as long as the retainer agreement remains in place.

Changing With The Times If your level of engagement turns out to be either too conservative or too liberal we are flexible enough to adjust it accordingly as necessary throughout the journey.

So needless to say, our creative skills don’t stop on the drawing board.

© 2019 U! Creative, Inc. OTHER WAYS U! RATE

Per Gig Estimate provided in advance based on desired deliverables. In this case, just let us know where we need to dial it in. We’re ready to rock and roll!

Pre-Order The Pre-Order model allows clients to pre-purchase a discounted bank of hours to use toward any desired project or series of projects until the bank is depleted. The more hours purchased up front, the better the discount.

Remixed Retainer For clients within a Seasonal Industry, we have found it beneficial to create a flexible compensation plan – one which varies in rate according to the busy months of a client’s creative efforts. For example, if a client is busy Spring, Summer and Fall, those months are billed at a pre-approved rate. During their off-peak months of Winter, the hourly commitment drops to more closely align with fewer creative needs being required.

“I have leveraged U! Creative for over five years now for projects varying from presentation creation and product design for clients like yourselves to Apparel / Merchandise Line Development and Retail Kiosk Design for our Central Park location. I became aware of U! Creative LET US in my theme park days as they were selected to re-design and rebrand the merchandise in the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Adventure Parks for Busch Entertainment. The VP of Retail was extremely pleased with the products and results and recommended them to us. Every project that I have given them over the years has been executed at the most professional level, on time and on budget. “What brought our attention to U! Creative was its success in the “attractions” business. Their experience in website design, retail store space, etc proved interesting to us, because we saw right away that the relationship had the opportunity to grow outside of just a website design. Additionally, following their pitch presentation, we also really liked the team members as they were a good fit for us. The experience with U! Creative was a wonderful one. Our expectations were met as they worked tirelessly around the clock (they really did!) to get our site launched to the date we selected. The team members were always friendly and always a phone call away. Not only would we work with them again, we have just signed another contract with them.”

Melissa Giller – Chief Marketing Officer Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute • Simi Valley, CA

Looking at our operation with fresh eyes, reviewing past performance and procedures enabled them to put together a great strategy. Partners – because there is no division line between “agency” and “client.” When you work with U! Creative, they are an extension of your team, building on your ideas and insight as well as their own. All egos are checked at the door. The result, time and time again.
