ACCOMMODATION AND RESERVATIONS

The Council of Europe Secretariat is unable to assist with hotel bookings. Participants should make their own reservations directly with the hotel. Preferential rates for Council of Europe experts have been negotiated with a number of hotels which are listed in Appendix II. You are invited to check prices upon booking, and in order to benefit from any preferential rates, donot forget to mention the Council of Europe.

Please make yourself aware of the cancellation policy of your hotel and note that a valid credit card number is usually required for reservations to be confirmed.

Most hotels are situated in the city centre, and indeed we would recommend that you use one of these hotels, as there are no restaurants or bars in the vicinity of the Council of Europe buildings.The Council of Europe is within 20 minutes walk from the east corner of the city, or 20 minutes bus ride from the city centre. Your hotel will be able to advise you on bus routes and times.
