Studies demonstrate that Carabin is part of a negative regulatory loop for the intracellular TCR signalling pathway and acts as an inhibitor of the Ras signalling pathway. Carabin is also believed to mediate crosstalk between calcineurin and Ras. Carabin is most abundantly expressed in spleen and peripheral blood leucocytes. Uniprot ID: Q8IV04 NCBI: NP_940919.1 GeneID: 374403 Host / Isotype: Rabbit / IgG Immunogen: A 17 amino acid peptide from near the amino terminus of human Carabin. Format: State: Liquid purified IgG Buffer System: Phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% Sodium Azide (NaN3) Applications: Western blot: 1 - 2 µg/ml; detects a band of approximately 55kDa in human spleen tissue cell lysates. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections (requires antigen retrieval). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. Specificity: This antibody recognises Carabin, also known as TBC1 domain family member 10C (TBC1D10C), a 50 kDa protein belonging to the TBC1 domain family of proteins. This antibody does not cross react with either TBC1D10A or TBC1D10B. Species: Human, Mouse. Other species not tested. Storage: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for up to one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. Caution: (A full Health and Safety assessment is available upon request) This product contains Sodium Azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE, which should be handled by trained staff only.
