RAMS at 11 a.m. through the sale ring, beginning with the SOUTH EASTERN AREA SUFFOLK SHEEP SALE and THE SOUTH EASTERN TEXEL GROUP SALE and finishing with the NON SCHEME RAMS and SOUTHDOWN SHEARLINGS & BREEDING EWES ~~~~~~~~~ Sale to Commence in the main ring at 11.00 a.m. with the SHEARLINGS followed by the Sale of BREEDING & GRAZING EWES LAMBS to be sold at approx. 2 p.m. ~~~~~~~~~ ALL SHEARLINGS AND LAMBS TO BE RUN AND SOLD THROUGH CENTRAL RING ~~~~~~~~~ ALL SHOW SHEEP TO BE PENNED & SORTED BY 10.00 a.m. Please use straw sparingly if bedding up pens ~~~~~~~~~ The Showground will be open for reception of sheep from 6.00 a.m. on the day of sale. All sheep must be removed from the Showground on the day of sale. ~~~~~~~~~ VENDORS - Please ensure that your sheep are described correctly, tagged properly and don't forget your completed MOVEMENT DOCUMENT - ARAMS1 (11/15) (NO OLD DEFRA LICENCES WILL BE ACCEPTED) (South of England Holding No. 42/333/8004 ) Please could you also ensure that your sheep are counted and checked in the pen and booked in with a South East Marts clerk ~~~~~~~~~ CLEANSING & DISINFECTING If you are cleansing and disinfecting your vehicle at home please fill in the relevant form (available from the office), otherwise you will be charged a £5 washing out fee. ~~~~~~~~~ PLEASE NOTE We would like to draw everybody's attention to the rules and regulations of the Licence issued by DEFRA to run the Dolphin Fair at Ardingly. Please abide by the BIOSECURITY NOTICES by dipping your feet where necessary. Please do not climb over barriers, use only the designated entry and exit points . ~~~~~~~~~ WARRANTY OF STOCK LAMC Conditions of Sale 2017 shall apply except that in respect of dentition - this is provided as an indication of age only and does not constitute a warranty. Breeding sheep sold under £80 per head are excluded from the Vendor's warranty. All lambs sold for less than £45 are excluded from the Vendor's warranty ~~~~~~~~~~~ TERMS OF PAYMENT PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOW ONLY TAKE DEBIT CARDS (CREDIT CARDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). Please also bring an alternative payment method in place of debit cards just in case the mobile phone reception is poor. We regret that cheques will only be accepted in payment of purchases from known customers who have dealt with us in the past or who have provided satisfactory references prior to the sale day. No lot will be released until it has been satisfactorily paid for.
