East Hanover Township is located in eastern Morris County, New Jersey, 25 miles west of New York City and 15 miles west of Newark. The Township has a total area of 8.136 square miles and is bordered by Parsippany and Hanover to the west, Florham Park to the south, West Caldwell, Roseland and Livingston to the east, and Montville to the north.
