INTRODUCTION Today, Shawme-Crowell is best known as a campground from which visitors explore Cape Cod Shawme-Crowell State Forest is located in the towns and southeastern Massachusetts. It is the only year- of Bourne and Sandwich, south of the Cape Cod round campground in the Nickerson Complex. Canal. (Figure 2.1) It is accessed via Route 130 in Sandwich.
