Jimmy Buffett Hospitalized After Concert Fall- It's still unknown if a blown-out flip-flop was to blame, but "Cheeseburger in Paradise" singer Jimmy Buffett was released from a Sydney, Australia, hospital on Thursday (January 27), a day after taking a terrible tumble from a concert stage in the city.
The 64-year-old Buffett fell face first off the Hordern Pavilion's stage on Wednesday night after an encore performance of his song "Lovely Cruise," shocking onlookers as he lay unconscious for 10 minutes on the floor while security and medics attended to him. He was hospitalized and underwent a CAT scan that showed no serious damage, according to reports.
