2008-12-11 13:22 CET Kevin Borg vinner Idol enligt spelbolagen De stora spelbolagen Betsson, Betway, Expekt och Unibet håller Kevin Borg som stor favorit i fredagens final i Idol 2008. Förra fredagen tvingades Robin Bengtsson lämna tävlingen, vilket innebar att Alice Svensson gjorde Kevin sällskap till Globen och fredagens final. Spelbolagen tror på en säker seger för Kevin som bara ger runt 1,15 ggr pengarna som vinnare av Idol 2008. Att jämföra med Alice som betalar runt 5 ggr pengarna. The main question is: In what way do live act reviews present male and female pop artists? A qualitative content analysis with tools from rhetoric analysis was used to answer this question. The content of Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet and Svenska Dagbladet was chosen to represent the media. The study is based on social constructionism and focuses on gender and stereotypes. These theories claim that men create the patterns that rule society and that women are unknowingly accepting this. We slowly grow into these stereotypical patterns so that we hardly recognize them anymore. The main reason for this is that the media provides information that is said to be objective, when it’s really influenced by the norms of society itself. The result of the study proves that female artists are being held back by the unwritten rules of society while male artists are encouraged when it comes to developing themselves and their artwork.

This happened in 1565. - Victories against the Italians. These victories occured during the Second World War, specifically in 1943. - The Maltese people’s rebellion against French troops in Malta which happened in September 1800. - The 8th of September also has a religious significance since it is connected to the nativity of Mary (this day is remembered universally by the Catholic Church). Religious feasts are in fact celebrated in Senglea, Mellieha, Naxxar and Xaghra on this special day. Victory Day Celebrations and Events - Celebrations on Victory Day include the laying of wreaths at Fort St. Angelo (Vittoriosa) and on the Great Siege of Malta monument in Valletta. 2008-10-09 16:49 CEST Anna blir Idol 2008 Anna Bergendahl blir Idol 2008 Under fyra år har Ladbrokes tagit spel på Idol och oddssättarnas musikkunskap och känsla för vad TV-tittarna gillar har visat sig stämma bra under tidigare säsonger. Ända sedan premiärsäsongen av Idol där Daniel och Darin var förhandsfavoriter som vänta slutade etta och tvåa, har lågoddsare som Markus Fagerwall infriat förväntningarna. 2005 var Sebastian Karlsson favorit hela vägen med Agnes Carlsson som tät tvåa och även denna gång möttes förhandsfavoriterna i finalen. I år är det aningen mer svårtippat, men Ladbrokes ser Anna Bergendahl som favorit till odds 3,50 och hon följs närmast av Loulou Lamotte, Kevin Borg och Lars Eriksson som alla ger 6 gånger pengarna. Robin Bengtsson och Jesper Blomberg får det svårt att undvika tävlingens jumboplaceringar. "Vi har varit duktiga på att välja ut rätt favoriter men visst kan vi se skrällar ibland.
