Message from the President Hello Members!
Happy November! Another great month is in the books for RE- SA! Our October Social was so much fun having Belgian Bistro come out for our Oktoberfest Beer Tasting. Thank you Sara Orr for planning another great Social!
This past month, we also had the opportunity to serve a deli- cious dinner to our Airmen during the Quarterly Airman’s Birth- day Dinner at the Rheinland Inn Dining Facility. This really is a wonderful volunteer opportunity because we get the chance to interact and serve our Airmen first-hand. The food is awesome, the games are fun and the camaraderie is irreplaceable. Thank you all who participated that evening!
I’d like to send huge congratulations to our incoming 2018 Executive Board that was elected in- to office at the October social. I am very excited to experience your leadership and everything you all bring to this organization! Don’t forget, if you have an interest in any of the General Board positions, please email our current Parliamentarian, Nicole Little, at re- [email protected] ASAP as those positions will be filled very soon!
This month, we do not have an official social. We do have a Movie Event Night planned on Thursday, November 16th. All adults are welcomed!
Be sure to check your email, as save-the-dates for our upcoming Holiday Party and Installation Ceremony will be coming out soon! As a reminder, membership dues must be paid through March 2018 in order to receive an invitation to this red carpet event.

We here at RESA have always valued our volunteers. Aside from the weekly, monthly, and quarterly events noted in the calendar, we would love to hear from our membership of any local organizations or events in which RESA can participate. Contact any member of the board at the next social or send an email to [email protected] for further discussion. • Volunteers receive quarterly recognition in the form of BX gift cards based on the amount of hours donated: Up to 10 hrs = $5 Min 60 hrs = $50 Min 15 hrs = $10 Min 75 hrs = $62.50 Min 30 hrs = $25 Min 90 hrs = $75 Min 45 hrs = $37.50 *Max $150 • Childcare reimbursement is available to members while attending volunteer functions. Reim- bursements are based off the current childcare rates at the Ramstein CDC. • In lieu of being paid, another RESA member may elect to earn volunteer hours watching the children of a RESA member who is volunteering for an event that childcare would otherwise be reimbursable at the rate of one hour per child, per hour watched. • Committee chairs (lemonade stand, gift wrapping, etc.) receive gift cards in amounts specified in the By-Laws. • Travel to and from volunteer events (up to 15 minutes each way) counts toward your volunteer hours.

RESA Membership RESA Membership is open to members assigned to an installation located in the KMC who are:
• Spouse of active duty enlisted military member
• Active duty enlisted member serving in the U.S./NATO Forces
• Civilian employee GS-7 and below
• Spouses of retired enlisted U.S./NATO Forces and civilian personnel
• Adult relatives or legal dependents residing with active duty or retired enlisted U.S./NATO Forces families
• Spouses of geographically separated active duty enlisted military member
