00 11” The Basilica; The Catholic Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. Buillt in 1905 and considered to be one of ’s finest buildings.

00. 41”: The Anglican Community of the Sacred Name at 181 Barbadoes St.

00 51” This is the area around the intersection of Manchester, Lichfield and High Streets.

00 57” The building on the left housed Ruben Blades Hairdressing Academy.

01’ 06” The Excelsior Hotel

01’ 40” The Old ANZ Bank building.

01’ 41” 84 Lichfield Street. Bain’s Building, housing the Fazazz-the Motorist’s Shop.

01’ 47” A corner of Sol Square and across the road, Poplar Lane.

05’ 21” St Pauls Trinity Pacific Presbyterian Church on the corner of Madras and Cashel Streets. Restoration work had started after the September 4 th Darfield earthquake. 05’ 35” Diagonally across the road is the Canterbury Television building site.

06’ 21” St John’s Anglican Church in Latimer Square, most of the damage here was sustained in the Darfield earthquake.

09’ 59” The Knox Church on the corner of Victoria Street and Bealey Avenue.

10’ 02” Victoria Street closer to the city centre.

10’ 19” The Methodist Church on Durham Street, thought to be a first stone building on the Plains.

10’ 24” Canterbury Provincial Council Buildings (1858 to 1865) designed by Benjamin Mountfort, Canterbury's leading Gothic Revival architect.

10’ 39” Cramner Courts- site of the former Normal School and Girl’s High School.

10’ 58”” The Old Teachers Training College.

11’ 02” Scotts statue on Worcester Boulevard.

11’ 08” Across the road -Our City Otautahi. 11’ 14” The old Library in Hereford Street-across the road from the current Police Station.

11. 22” The Arts Centre complex Until the 1970’s,the site of Canterbury University.

12’ 21” And finally Cathedral Square .This statue of John Robert Godley- Canterbury’s founder- has stood here since 1867.

12’ 48” Building in the Western corner of the Square.
