University of Le Havre Dr. Pascal Reghem President
Dr. Pascal Reghem has obtained Electrical Engineering degree from CNAM and joined the University of Le Havre in 1986 after working for 6 years in industry in Normandy. Having received a PhD in 1994, he was recruited as Associate Professor in the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Le Havre. Dr. Reghem has directed the Center of Computer Resources and Systems from 1995 until 2001, and has been a member of the laboratory of GREAH (Research Group in Electrical Engineering and Automatics, Le Havre). His research field is electrical engineering and, more specifically, renewable energy sources. Dr. Reghem was elected as a member of the administration council in 2000, worked as Vice President in charge of financed and human resources. He was elected as the President of the University of Le Havre in May 2012.

Dr. David Faraggi Rector
Prof. Faraggi is a graduate of the Hebrew University in economics and statistics (1980), he earned his doctorate at the University of Wisconsin at Madison (1984). He carried out post- doctorate work in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard University’s School of Public Health. In 1988 Prof. Faraggi joined the University faculty and set up the Statistics Consulting Unit, which he still heads.
Professor Faraggi’s areas of expertise in statistics involve developing statistical methods and a methodology for medical and biological applications and the development of models for neural networks in the analysis of survival. He has published more than 70 articles in scientific journals.
Prof. Faraggi served as Vice Rector of the University of Haifa (2004-2010).Among the positions held by Prof. Faraggi at the University: member of the Graduate Studies Council, member of the University Senate and the Appointments and Promotions Committee, Chairman of the Department of Statistics, and head of the University of Haifa Data Archive. He serves as University representative on the Public Council for Statistics.

Craig obtained a first class honours degree in Computer Science in 1991, a Higher Education Teaching Diploma in 1996 and a PhD (via part-time study) in 1997, all from the University of Hull.
Between 1994 and 1999 he held Lectureships, firstly in Computer Science at the University of Hull, and then in Software Engineering at Durham.
In 1999 Craig moved to University College Scarborough (UCS) to take up a Principal Lectureship and the post of founding head of the University of Hull Centre for Internet Computing. UCS merged with the University of Hull in 2000, when Craig continued as Head of Centre for a further 5 years.
In 2005 Craig was appointed Dean of the University of Hull’s Scarborough Campus and he became Campus Principal in October 2010.
Craig is a Chartered Engineer and remains actively involved in the accreditation of Computer Science degree programmes nationally via the British Computer Society. Craig’s most recent research activity has focused on Leadership, Management and Change in Higher Education, with a specific focus on developing a better understanding of the strategies and structures of satellite HE campuses.

Dr. Daguang Wu Vice President

Prof. Wu is the Vice President for international initiatives at Xiamen University. As a professor of higher education, he serves as a member of the Academic Committee at Xiamen University. He has also been a member of many other academic, social and research institutions such as the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Education Expert Committee on Discipline Development and the Academic Committee of the Chinese Higher Education Association. His research interest mainly focuses on the philosophy of higher education, the management of higher education, and the comparative study of higher education. Prof. Wu is a senior visiting professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Liverpool and the University of California-Berkeley.
