Has my address or the address of my beneficiary changed, so that I should notify the company? Beneficiary. Is the name of my beneficiary properly given, so that there can be no mistake? If the beneficiary named has died, shouldn't I change the beneficiary to some one else or to my estate? Should I name a second beneficiary now, in case anything should happen to the present one? Loans. If I have a loan on my policy, this is really borrowing from my bene ficiary. Shouldn't I begin to repay the loan, so that the policy will stand again at the full amount? Classic Poetry Series Boris Pasternak - poems - Publication Date: 2012 Publisher: Poemhunter.com - The World's Poetry Archive Boris Pasternak(10 February 1890 - 30 May 1960) Boris Leonidovich Pasternak was a Russian language poet, novelist, and literary translator. In his native Russia, Pasternak's anthology My Sister Life, is one of the most influential collections ever published in the Russian language. Furthermore, Pasternak's theatrical translations of Goethe, Schiller, Pedro Calderón de la Barca, and William Shakespeare remain deeply popular with Russian audiences. Outside Russia, Pasternak is best known for authoring Doctor Zhivago, a novel which spans the last years of Czarist Russia and the earliest days of the Soviet Union. Banned in the USSR, Doctor Zhivago was smuggled to Milan and published in 1957. Pasternak was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature the following year, an event which both humiliated and enraged the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. In the midst of a massive campaign against him by both the KGB and the Union of Soviet Writers, Pasternak reluctantly agreed to decline the Prize. In his resignation letter to the Nobel Committee, Pasternak stated the reaction of the Soviet State was the only reason for his decision. By the time of his death from lung cancer in 1960, the campaign against Pasternak had severely damaged the international credibility of the U.S.S.R. He remains a major figure in Russian literature to this day. Furthermore, tactics pioneered by Pasternak were later continued, expanded, and refined by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn and other Soviet dissidents. <b>Early Life</b> Pasternak was born in Moscow on 10 February, (Gregorian), 1890 (Julian 29 January) into a wealthy Russian Jewish family which had been received into the Russian Orthodox Church. -

Walker created a book entitled, “Trooper”, a compilation of 10 interviews with Patrol retirees. Twenty-five years later, these interviews have become part of our treasured history. The Patrol owes Sgt. Walker (who is now retired and resides in Jefferson City, Missouri) a debt of gratitude for preserving the memories of these pioneers. -

GAZETA Nr 1/571 RYBNICKAISSN 1232-437X BEZPŁATNY MIESIĘCZNIK SPOŁECZNO-KULTURALNY STYCZEŃ 2019 Kolęda z gwiazdami Trzeba skończyć z nienawiścią Wielokrotnie zwracałem się w tym miejscu do Państwa, mówiąc m.in. o najważniejszych problemach naszego miasta i lokalnej społeczności. Po tragicznych wydarzeniach w Gdańsku, po tym, co tam się stało, jestem pewien, że przesłaniem uniwersalnym, dotyczącym każdego z nas, każdej ze wspólnot samorządowych, przesłaniem, które w znakomity sposób zdefiniowało bardzo poważny problem całego naszego kraju, ale i wspólnot lokalnych, było wystąpienie dominikanina ojca Ludwika Wiśniewskiego na pogrzebie prezydenta Gdańska Pawła Adamowicza, zamordowanego w czasie gdańskiego finału Wielkiej Orkiestry Świątecznej Pomocy. Fragment tego wystąpienia pozwolę sobie tutaj przytoczyć. Prezydent Rybnika Piotr Kuczera – Z Gdańska wielokrotnie wychodził głos, właściwie krzyk, który wielu ludziom przywracał moralną równowagę. 80 lat temu z Gdańska, z Westerplatte, wyszedł rozpaczliwy krzyk wołający do całego świata, że wolność jest wartością bezcenną, że wolności trzeba bronić, zawsze bronić. Niemal 40 lat temu z Gdańska wyszedł apel do świata, w którym dobitnie wołano, że należy porzucić stary świat, świat egoizmu, darwinowskiej walki klas, że należy tworzyć świat nowy, świat solidarności, w którym jeden człowiek bierze na siebie brzemię drugiego człowieka i w którym porzuca się już etos walki ze złem, a buduje się świat, w którym zło zwycięża się dobrem. Gdańsk słusznie się nazywa, i wielokrotnie Paweł to powtarzał, miastem wolności i solidarności. Dzisiaj przeżywamy tu w Gdańsku nowy, dziejowy, historyczny moment. Cała Polska czeka, może nie tylko Polska, ażeby z Gdańska wyszło przesłanie, które dotrze do każdego Polaka i które przywróci moralną równowagę w naszym kraju i w naszych sercach. -

Many different songs that could have taken us in many different directions. It sort of overwhelmed us for a bit. But, at a certain point, we figured it out. We figured out where North was.” The album’s electrifying first single, “She’s So Mean,” is slated to be unveiled in June. “NORTH” sees Matchbox Twenty driving their pop-rock sound further forward; magnifying the indelible melodies, crafty lyricism, and glorious hooks that have always defined their multi-platinum body of work.
