Rapidly Detect Multiple Herpes Family Viruses H&V-Mix quickly cultures Herpes Simplex Virus, Cytomegalovirus and Varicella-zoster Virus from various body sites. When combined with patented D 3 monoclonal antibody staining kits, most herpes family virus infections can be identified in 24 to 48 hours.

Pre-incubate monolayers at 35˚C to 37˚C for 2 to 16 hours

Inoculate the selected monolayers with 200 µL to 400 µL of specimen

Centrifuge 700 xg, 1 hour, incubate at 35˚C to 37˚C

HSV CMV VZV

1 to 4 days post inoculation, stain with D 3 DFA HSV 1 day post inoculation, stain with D 3 DFA CMV 1 to 2 days post inoculation, stain with D 3 DFA VZV Reagent for 15 to 30 minutes Reagent for 15 to 30 minutes Reagent for 15 to 30 minutes
