WE DELIVER EXEMPLARY CARE. TOGETHER. 2016-17 ANNUAL REPORT Canuck Place Care Begins with You WE DELIVER EXEMPLARY CARE. TOGETHER. 2016-17 ANNUAL REPORT Canuck Place care begins with you. For over two decades, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice has been here with exceptional, innovative, pediatric palliative care for BC’s most vulnerable children and the families who love them. We’re committed to providing the very best care we can through a culture of compassion. And we do it with the foundation of support that you provide. We provide complex pain and symptom management, comprehensive medical respite, fun recreational therapy, comforting end-of-life care, and our team works hard so Canuck Place families can focus on savouring the time they have together. This past year we provided care and support for over 715 children and families from every corner of BC. Our clinical team was able to meet them in-hospice, in-hospital and in-home, designing plans that include the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of each family. We want to continue to be there for children and families with the very best care we can provide. With you, we can and we want to say “thank you”.
