Ma Weihua is the former President and CEO of China Merchants Bank. He holds a PhD in economics from the Southwest University of Finance, and an Honorary PhD from the University of Southern California. He concurrently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for CIGNA & CMC life Insurance Company Ltd., Chairman of China Merchants Fund Management Co. Ltd., and Wing Lung Bank. He also currently sits on the board of China Merchants Group.

Ma has served on multiple international educational and research institutes, social organizations and industry associations. Zhu Xinli founded Huiyuan Group in 1992. Huiyuan has grown into the leading juice brand in China, with approximately 51% of the current market share. Zhu also serves as the Vice Chairman of the China Beverage Industry Association, visiting professor and adjunct supervisor at Nankai University, China Agricultural University, and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

In 2006, China Huiyuan Juice Group Limited was established from a beverage bottling subsidiary of Huiyuan Group. Maggie Cheng has been General Manager and Secretary-General of the China Entrepreneur Club (CEC) since its establishment. She is also President of Daonong Centre for Enterprise, and Executive Publisher of Green Companies magazine.

Maggie has 15-years of experience in the media industry, serving as a journalist, editor, hostess, producer and other managerial posts. In 2006, Maggie was a core founder of the CEC and has been General Manager and Secretary-General ever since. As an NGO, the CEC has developed into the most influential and representative organisation for business leaders in China in the past seven years.

Maggie has been actively devoted to promoting the internationalisation of Chinese private businesses and populating the spirit of entrepreneurship in China. She initiated the annual International Visits of the China Entrepreneur Club, which have become one of the CEC’s most important projects, with successful business missions to the United States (2011), the UK (2012) and France/Belgium (2013). Teo Siong Seng (S.S.Teo) was born in Singapore in 1954. He graduated from Glasglow University in the United Kingdom in 1979 with a First Class Honours Degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering. He is married with 2 sons.

Mr Teo started his shipping career with his family owned business, Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd (PIL) in 1979 and was appointed Managing Director in October 1992.

Mr Teo is also the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of PIL's public listed subsidiary company, Singamas Container Holdings Limited, Hong Kong.

He was also appointed as Nominated Member of Parliament from 20th July 2009 to 5th August 2014 representing the commerce sector in Singapore.

He has been a Council Member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) since 1993, and was installed as President of SCCCI’s 55th Council in March 2009. In March 2011, Mr Teo was re-elected as President of SCCCI’s 56th Council for a second term.

Mr Teo stepped down as SCCCI President on 15/3/13 after finishing his second term of service and is presently the Immediate Past President.

Mr Teo was the Founding Chairman of Singapore Maritime Foundation from 5th March 2006 to 1st January 2010. He was the President of Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) from 2003 to July 2011 after serving 4 terms.

Mr Teo was appointed the Honorary Consul of the United Republic of Tanzania with jurisdiction over the territory of the Republic of Singapore on 19th August. 2013.

Mr Teo has made significant contributions in enhancing Singapore-Sino trade cooperation.

In 2000, he was conferred the Golden Eagle Award for “Best Entrepreneur” by Lianhe Zaobao and Singapore-China Business Association, acknowledging his contributions to Singapore-Sino trade relations.

Wong Kan Seng

Special Advisor for Economic Cooperation to the Prime Minister Chairman, Singbridge Holdings Pte Ltd

Mr Wong Kan Seng is the Special Advisor for Economic Cooperation to the Prime Minister. He is the Chairman of Singbridge Holdings Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings.

Mr Wong was the former Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. He retired in May 2011 after serving 26 years in the Singapore Government. His last appointment was as the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister in charge of the Population and Talent Division in the Prime Minister's Office.

Mr Wong is the Member of Parliament for Bishan-Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency. He was first elected as Member of Parliament in 1984 and has since been re- elected in six successive general elections. In his 26 years in Government, Mr Wong has held Ministerial appointments in the Communications and Information, Community Development, Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Ministries. He chaired a number of ministerial-level committees which coordinated work across several ministries, for example, on population and talent policies, crisis management such as SARS and community engagement.

During his tenure as Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Wong co-chaired the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation, the Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Committee and the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city Joint Steering Council with the then PRC Vice-Premier. He also co-chaired the Qatar-Singapore High Level Joint Committee with the State of Qatar's former Heir Apparent.

Mr Wong is a member of the London Business School's Global Advisory Council and an Advisor to Business China. He also chairs the Lien Legacy Fellowship Council set up by the Lien Foundation. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Nanyang Technological University. Mr Wong was the Leader of the Singapore Parliament from 1987 to 2007, and the Deputy Chairman of the People's Association from 1992 to 2006. (The Chairman of the People's Association is the Prime Minister.) Apart from appointments in the Government, Mr Wong was the Chairman of the Chinese Development Assistance Council from 1992 to 2004, and then as a Trustee from 2004 to 2012. He was the Adviser to the National Transport Workers' Union from 1985 to April 2012.

Before his political career, Mr Wong served in the Government Administrative Service and held appointments as a Department Head of the Republic of Singapore Navy, Director of

Manpower Division and Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Defence. In 1981, he joined Hewlett Packard, Singapore where he remained till January 1985.

For his contributions to the Civil Service and labour movement, Mr Wong was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 1976 by the President of the Republic of Singapore, and the Medal of Honour by the National Trades Union Congress in 1998. He received the London Business School Alumni Achievement Award in 2004.

Mr Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the then University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration degree from the London Business School.

Seah Moon Ming

Mr Seah Moon Ming is Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pavilion Energy Pte Ltd and Pavilion Gas Pte Ltd.

Mr Seah was Senior Managing Director of Temasek International Pte Ltd from 1 March to 30 September 2013. Prior to joining Temasek, he was the Deputy CEO & President (Defence) of Singapore Technologies Engineering. He first joined the Singapore Technologies Group in 1994 as General Manager of CET Technologies. He was promoted to Managing Director of Singapore Technologies Electronics in July 1997 and served as Singapore Technologies Electronics' President from December 1997 to August 2009.

Mr Seah is Chairman of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, Trusted Board Ltd and China Business Group of Singapore Business Federation. He also sits on the board of DSO National Laboratories, Singapore Technologies Electronics and Alexandra Health System Pte Ltd. Mr Seah is a member of the Board of Trustees, SIM University, Singapore and Adjunct Professor at its School of Science & Technology. He was Chairman of Temasek Polytechnic from 2006 to 2014.

Mr Seah was awarded the Public Service Star [BBM] by the President of the Republic of Singapore in 2014. He was conferred the IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award 2008 by the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He received the Honorary Fellow Award from the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO), as well as Fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET).

Mr Seah is also a recipient of the 2011 Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award, conferred by the NUS Faculty of Engineering. He was awarded the 2006 Asia Brand Innovation - Ten Most Outstanding Personality Award and the 6th International Management Action Award by Chartered Management Institute, Singapore in 2007. In January 2008, Mr Seah was conferred the title of Honorary Citizen of Guiyang, China. He was named as one of China's Top 10 International Chinese Achievers for Financial & Intelligent Persons in 2007 by a consortium of organisations, including the Beijing Normal University and the Chinese editions of Fortune and Time magazines.

Mr Seah holds a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Science (EE) with distinction from Naval Postgraduate School, USA. He also attended the Stanford-NUS Executive Program and the Management Development & Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.

Dr Robert Yap is Chairman and CEO of YCH Group, Singapore’s leading end-to-end Supply Chain Company with operations spanning across the entire Asia-Pacific region. He was conferred the Asia Logistics Hall of Fame award for his significant contributions and thought- leadership to the SCM industry in 2003 and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (EOY) award in 2007. Robert was further honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award (Logistics) presented by the World Chinese Economic Forum in 2013, and the NUS Business School Eminent Business (Senior) Alumni Award in 2014.

Robert sits on the ASEAN-Business Advisory Council, which he chaired from 2007 to 2009. He is President of Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) and Board Member at International Enterprise Singapore (IES) and Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). Zhong Sheng Jian

Mr. Zhong Sheng Jian is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Yanlord Land Group Limited and is responsible for its overall management and strategy development. Since the 1980s, Mr. Zhong has founded and established a number of businesses in trading, manufacturing, real estate and financial services spanning China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. He started our property development business in the early 1990s, which is now part of the Singapore SGX Mainboard listed Yanlord Land Group Limited.

In May 2010, Mr Zhong was named and awarded the Singapore Businessman of the Year 2009. Due to his investments in and contribution to various parts of China, Mr. Zhong has been awarded Honorary Citizenships in Nanjing, Zhuhai, Shanwei and Suzhou in the PRC. In 2005, he was also awarded the White Magnolia Award in Shanghai for his contributions to the Municipal City of Shanghai.

Dr Teh Kok Peng

Dr Teh Kok Peng retired from GIC at the end of June, 2011 and stayed on as Adviser for two years. Before his retirement, he was President of GIC Special Investments from April 1999 to June 2011. Prior to this, he was concurrently Deputy Managing Director of Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Deputy Managing Director of GIC. He began his career with the World Bank under the Young Professionals Program in Washington D.C.

In addition to being the Chairman of Ascendas Pte Ltd, Dr Teh is also a board member of the National University of Singapore, the S. Rajaratnam Endowment, the China International Capital Corporation, Overseas Chinese Banking Corporation and Sembcorp Industries Ltd. He also chairs the Advisory Board of the Asia Private Equity Institute at the Singapore Management University.

Dr Teh obtained First Class Honours in Economics at La Trobe University, Melbourne, and a Doctorate in Economics at Nuffield College, Oxford University, England. Mr Lim Ming Yan is President and Group Chief Executive Officer of CapitaLand Limited. He is a Director of CapitaLand Limited, as well as Deputy Chairman of CapitaMall Trust Management Limited, CapitaCommercial Trust Management Limited, CapitaRetail China Trust Management Limited and Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited.

Mr Lim is a Board Member of the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore, Director of Business China, an organisation that promotes bilingualism and biculturalism between Singapore and China, as well as Board Member of the Singapore Tourism Board.

Mr Lim was the Chief Operating Officer of CapitaLand from May 2011 to December 2012 and Chief Executive Officer of The Ascott Limited from July 2009 to February 2012. Dr Loo Choon Yong

Executive Chairman, Raffles Medical Group

Dr Loo Choon Yong is the Executive Chairman of Raffles Medical Group Limited. He co- founded the Group in 1976 and was appointed to his current position in 1997 when the Group was listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange. Dr Loo is also an independent lead director of CapitaMalls Asia Limited. He is the Chairman of the Asian Medical Foundation Ltd.

Dr Loo was appointed by the President of Singapore since 2006, as the Non-Resident Ambassador to the Italian Republic. He was also appointed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry as Chairman of Jurong Town Corporation from 2013.

Besides his medical training, Dr Loo also read Law at the University of London and is a barrister of Middle Temple.

Dr Loo was awarded the Singapore National Day Awards Public Service Medal (2003) and Public Service Star (2009) and the Distinguished Service Award (2005) from the Ministry of Home Affairs for his contributions to Singapore’s fight against drug abuse.

Meng Fang Qiu

Prior to his current appointment, Mr Meng was the Division Director of the Planning and Development Division of China National Aviation Fuel Group Corporation (“CNAF”) from December 2007 to May 2008. He had been involved in strategic planning, investment, company reform and legal policy issues since he joined CNAF in 2003. He led the steering committee for the restructuring of China Aviation Oil Supply Corporation which resulted in the formation of China National Aviation Fuel Corporation Ltd – one of the most strategic restructuring projects of CNAF. Mr Meng was one of the five members of the Corporate Governance Assessment Committee which was constituted during the restructuring of CAO.

Mr Meng was an official of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (“CAAC”) from 1991 to 2003 where he had extensive experience in law and enterprise reform. He was directly involved in the drafting and enacting of the PRC Civil Aviation Law – the first law on civil aviation in the PRC. He worked on the reform of the civil aviation management structure, and participated in the drafting of corporate reform plans for Air China Group, China Eastern Airlines Group, China Southern Airlines Group and logistic services. He was involved in the drafting of corporate reform plans for several Chinese airports. Mr Meng was the project leader of the merger between China Eastern and China Northwest Airlines. He was awarded the honorary title of “Elite Civil Servant” by CAAC.

Mr Meng graduated from China University of Political Science and Law (majored in International Economic Law) and holds a Master of Business Law from Renmin University of China. He holds an Asia Pacific Executive Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is also a qualified legal attorney and is a qualified corporate legal adviser in the PRC. He attended trainings on Singapore’s regulatory environment held by the Singapore Exchange, Singapore Institute of Directors and Rajah & Tann LLP.

Kelvin Teo

CEO, Sembcorp Development SBF China Business Group Vice Chairman

Mr Teo is CEO of Sembcorp’s Urban Development business. He sits on the boards of various Sembcorp companies and joint ventures, including Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park JV Co,where he is Co-chairman.Mr Teo has in-depth knowledge of the industrial parks and urban development business, having been involved in the start-up and joint venture management of all of Sembcorp Development’s projects across Vietnam, China and Indonesia.

Kuah Boon Wee

CEO, MTQ Corporation Limited

Mr Kuah is the Group Chief Executive Officer of MTQ Corporation, an engineering services company listed on the SGX with interests primarily in the oil and gas sector. He joined the board in October 2006 and assumed his current position in July 2010.

Prior to that, he had worked from 2004 to 2010 in PSA International, one of the largest port operations group in the world and 100% owned by Temasek Holdings. At PSA, he served as CEO of South East Asia and Singapore Terminals from 2007 to 2010 and Group Chief Financial Officer from 2004 to 2007. Singapore Terminals represents the Singapore port operations of PSA International and the South East Asia portfolio also included its port interests in Thailand and Vietnam. Before PSA, Mr Kuah was Chief Financial Officer of ST Engineering, a defence and engineering conglomerate majority owned by Temasek Holdings (from 2001 to 2004) and Hongkong Land Holdings, part of the Jardine Matheson Group of companies (from 2000 to 2001). Both of these companies are major companies publicly listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He worked with Jardine Matheson from 1994 to 2001.

He has been involved in several major transactions involving acquisitions and disposals as well as capital fundraising during his time in these companies. He has considerable international experience, having lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, Australia in addition to Singapore.

Mr Kuah has a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (1st Class Honours) from Imperial College of Science and Technology, London and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He has also attended the Advanced Management Programme at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is married and has 3 children.

Ho Meng Kit

CEO, Singapore Business Federation

Mr Ho, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the country’s apex Business Chamber which assists 21,000 members with business facilitation, voice representation and capacity building initiatives and services.

Prior to joining Singapore Business Federation, Mr Ho was Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has held a variety of senior policy and executive positions including four years as Principal Private Secretary to then Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew. He was Chief Executive of the Singapore Broadcasting Authority and Land Transport Authority where he worked collaboratively with Singapore’s media, transport and construction industries. As Managing Director of the Economic Development Board, he has extensive exposure to corporations, their business challenges and the opportunities they seek. As Deputy Secretary in Ministry of Trade & Industry and later in Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ho has an excellent understanding of government policies particularly those relating to support for business.

He graduated in 1978 from Cambridge University, United Kingdom with a degree in Engineering. He completed the Advanced Management Programme, Harvard University in 2003.

Tan Su Shan

Managing Director & Group Head, Consumer Banking & Wealth Management, DBS

Ms Tan Su Shan joined DBS in June 2010. She is currently Group Head, Consumer Banking & Wealth Management. She also serves as the President Commissioner for PT Bank DBS Indonesia.

Prior to joining DBS, Su Shan was Morgan Stanley’s Head of Private Wealth Management for Southeast Asia. Before re-joining Morgan Stanley in May 2008, she was a Region Head for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei for Citi Private Bank. She was responsible for the private bank’s overall business and a board director of Citi Trust Singapore. Su Shan was also the Singapore Investment Centre Head.

Prior to that, she was an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley in Singapore, serving from 1997 to 2005 as an investment adviser to high net worth families, corporates and institutions in the region.

Before joining Morgan Stanley, Su Shan spent eight years in ING Baring Securities in institutional equity sales, working in key financial hubs in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Su Shan was a Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore between February 2012 to August 2014. She was the founder and past president of the Financial Women’s Association in Singapore, and a board member of Aetos Security Management, a wholly- owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. She also sits on the investment committee of Ministry of Health Holdings. In addition, Su Shan is co-chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Private Banking Advisory Group.

Married with two children, Su Shan is actively involved in fund-raising for various Singaporean charities and sits on the board of Singapore’s KK Hospital Health Endowment Fund, which provides financial support to needy patients. She was a past board member of the National Museum and a member of the International Women’s Foundation and the Young Presidents Organisation. On the education front, she is an advisor to Hwa Chong Institution, SJI International School and Lincoln College, Oxford University.

Su Shan graduated with a Master of Arts from Oxford University in the United Kingdom, where she studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics. In February 2006, she was selected by Citi Private Bank to participate in the Senior Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. In May 2012, she was awarded the Distinguished Financial Industry Competent Professional (FICP) title, which is the highest certification mark for a financial practitioner in Singapore, by the Institute of Banking and Finance. In June 2013, Su Shan was named

Lim Lee Meng

Senior Partner, RSM Chio Lim SBF China Business Group Vice Chairman

Mr Lim Lee Meng joined the audit department of Arthur Young & Company (predecessor of Ernst & Young) in 1980. He left Arthur Young in 1984 to become the group financial controller of a substantial property and investment group. In 1988, he became a partner of RSM Chio Lim.

He is currently a senior partner and head of the China Practice Group (CPG) of the firm. In addition to his audit and tax portfolio, he also provides advice to companies on cross-border investments and initial public offerings, with a special focus on investments into China.

Lee Meng is the independent director of four listed companies in Singapore, two of which he serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is a member of the Appeal Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the member of the Grant Appeal Advisory Panel of Spring Singapore. Outside his profession, Lee Meng currently chairs the finance committee of the Ang Mo Kio Town Council. He is also the vice-chairman of the School Advisory Committee of River Valley High School.

Lee Meng speaks regularly in public seminars for the business community. The wide range of subject matter he has covered includes SGX regulations and corporate governance, impact of the Singapore Budget on businesses, auditing of companies in PRC and the differences between PRC and Singapore accounting standards.

Lee Meng won the Lianhe Zaobao’s consultancy award in 1990. He is the co-author of the “Singapore Tax Compliance Manual” published by CCH Asia Pte Ltd.

Leong Wai Leng

Ms Leong Wai Leng was appointed as Head of Business Management Unit, CEO's Office of Bank of Singapore in April 2013.

Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, Wai Leng was CEO of OCBC Bank China since 2007 where she has overall responsibility for directing and executing the OCBC Bank's growth strategy in China. Under Wai Leng's five year leadership, OCBC China tripled its branch network and grew its revenue more than four times to S$232 million in 2012. A Singaporean and a graduate of the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Wai Leng has 25 years of experience in finance, both in the corporate world and in commercial banking.

She has worked in China for the last 13 years, including 7 years of corporate experience with Philips Electronics Group as its China Country Treasurer and Vice President, China Group Chief Financial Officer. Mr Khiatani was previously the Chief Executive Officer of JTC Corporation (JTC), the Singapore Government’s lead agency to plan, promote and develop industrial infrastructure and facilities. At JTC, Mr Khiatani spearheaded the development of specialized and innovative infrastructure solutions for various industrial sectors.

Prior to joining JTC, Mr Khiatani was the Deputy Managing Director at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). Mr Khiatani joined the EDB in 1986 where he played an instrumental role in the development and transformation of important sectors in Singapore’s economy such as aerospace, marine and offshore, electronics, precision engineering, logistics, infocomms and media, and clean technology. He was also in charge of the EDB’s operations in the Americas and Europe.

Between 1994 and 1999, Mr Khiatani was the Managing Director of Preussag SEA, a diversified German conglomerate, where he was responsible for developing the group’s business in South-East Asia. In 1999, Mr Khiatani returned to the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).

Mr Khiatani is a Board Member of Ascendas Pte Ltd, Ascendas Funds Management (S) Limited, Ascendas Property Fund Trustee Pte Ltd, Ascendas Hospitality Fund Management Pte Ltd, Ascendas Hospitality Trust Management Pte Ltd and SIA Engineering Company Ltd.

Mr Khiatani holds a Masters Degree (Naval Architecture) from the University of Hamburg, Germany. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 2006.

Eugene Wong

Chairman, CrimsonLogic Pte Ltd SBF China Business Group Vice Chairman

Mr Eugene Wong is the chairman of CrimsonLogic Pte Ltd. He is the founder and Managing Director of the Sirius Venture Capital (SVC), an investment firm which invests in high growth Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs), helping them to be publicly listed.

Mr Eugene Wong is a board director of Ajisen China Holdings Limited which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is a board member of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore. He is the Immediate Past Chairman of Singapore Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (SVCA).

Mr Eugene Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (First-Class Honors) from NUS and an MBA from Imperial College London. He also attended the Harvard Business School Owner President Management Program (OPM). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Director. Ong Kim Pong

Regional CEO, Northeast Asia, PSA International

Mr. Ong Kim Pong is the Regional CEO of PSA Northeast Asia in PSA International. He has overall responsibility and accountability for PSA Group's portfolio of operating terminals, investments and expansion in this region including China, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. He also sits on the Senior Management Council of PSA International.

Prior to his current position, Mr Ong was the Managing Director of PSA’s flagship project in Antwerp, Belgium responsible for its business activities and day-to-day operations. Concurrently, he was also the Executive Director of PSA Zeebrugge, Belgium. In his previous capacity, Kim Pong consecutively held the position of Senior Vice President, PSA Mediterranean & Middle East South Asia Region, then Managing Director / CEO of Mersin International Port (MIP) in Turkey. During his tenure with MIP, he distinguished himself by ensuring a smooth transition of ownership of the Mersin Port from the local government to PSA and helped establish MIP as a key gateway port in the eastern Mediterranean. MIP was conferred the Lloyd’s List Turkey Port of the Year Award in 2008. Since the acquisition, MIP has received numerous accolades from the port industry. During that tenure, Mr Ong was, in parallel, activated to lend support to the commercial and operational issues occurring in PSA terminals in Italy and India.

Mr Ong served as Chief Operating Officer for Hesse Noord Naatie N.V. (HNN) in Belgium from 2001 to 2004 where he played an instrumental role in guiding the merger of two of the biggest port operators in Belgium to form HNN and effectively doubling its port capacity during the period. HNN was subsequently re-named as PSA Antwerp.

Mr Ong holds an Honours Degree in Operations Research and Finance as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He is married with three children.

Low Cher Ek

Deputy CEO, Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd

Mr Low Cher Ek is the Deputy CEO of Surbana International Consultants responsible for Surbana’s overall consultancy business in Singapore and China market. His key responsibilities include managing the businesses' P&L, operation, new pursuits, business development, client relationship plus project implementation and completion. He has wide experience in resource planning and leading technical teams in project development from planning, design, presentation to clients, tender, construction, project management plus dealing with contractors, contract management and completion stages, both locally and overseas. In managing the China business portfolio, it includes overseeing Surbana’s China branch offices and experiences in consultancy work in residential development in Chengdu, Wuxi, Xi’an, Shenyang, Shanghai, and Wuhan.

Mr Low Cher Ek is an Architect in training registered with Singapore Board of Architects and is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He was previously a Deputy Director at Housing & Development Board and currently a member of BCA Academy Advisory Panel.

Yeo Chun Cheng

EVP, Singbridge Corporate Pte Ltd

Mr Yeo Chun Cheng is currently the Executive Vice President of Singbridge Corporate Pte Ltd. Chun Cheng has almost 30 years of experience across information technology and media industries, specializing in areas such as software development, information architecture, knowledge management and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Singbridge, Chun Cheng was the Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Industry) for the Media Development Authority (MDA) of Singapore. He championed the building and further strengthening of various sectors of the Singapore media industry, including Broadcast, Animation, Film, Music, Interactive Media, Games and Publishing. His role included developing and implementing sectoral strategies to ensure the production and distribution of quality public broadcast programming, television and film productions, games, interactive media, music and multiplatform projects. Chun Cheng played a vital role in knowledge management and emerging technology strategies. In particular, he headed the national initiative that introduced HDTV to Singapore in 2006. Prior to this he was the Chief Information Officer of the MDA.

As Executive Director of the Interactive Digital Media Programme, he oversees the funding of R&D activities in the Digital Media Sector, including various international university research centres as well as nurturing start-ups in the digital media space.

Before joining MDA in 2004, Chun Cheng worked in California's Silicon Valley where he was head of engineering departments for several start-up IT companies. Before leaving for the United States, he was also the Senior Software Manager at AZTECH Systems, a public-listed company in Singapore, where he oversaw the firm's software operations. This position also took him to Beijing, where he set up AZTECH's R&D Lab. Chun Cheng is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore. He graduated with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from University of Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand. He also attended the Advanced Management Program in Harvard Business School.

Senior VP, Institutional Banking Group, DBS Bank Ltd

Mr Bernard Lim has over 18 years of experience in Corporate Banking and Investment Banking work. His experience includes both commercial lending and investment banking activities in areas of syndication, debt issuance and real estate related advisory work like REITs. Bernard is currently heading up China Desk in DBS Bank, Singapore servicing large Chinese corporates in the areas of trade finance, commercial loans and investment banking.
