Starting from North West towards very North regions & ending in Tehran, you’ll visit many fabulous spots of old Iran. Our exciting trekking tour takes you to a dreamy nature trip you could not forget. Start with Tabriz and its beautiful Arasbaran Forest with its diverse floras. Continue your trekking in Shirvan Valley in Meshginshahr. Go hiking in Alveres Heights in Sabalan Mountain slopes and swim in the thermal spring in Sareyn. Visit Exotic village of Masuleh with its marvelous structure. Hiking in the hillside of Ghasht Village to visit Rudkhan Castle. Visit lively Rasht Bazaar and head to spectacular Anzali Lagoon. Head to Tehran to visit the magnificent Golestan Palace and Abgineh Museum.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Tabriz
Salam! You will fly to Tabriz with Turkish Airlines via Istanbul. Your flight will land at 01:25 o'clock at Tabriz International Airport, transfer to the hotel & rest.
Day 2: Tabriz-Kaleybar
After breakfast drive to north and visiting some highlights including Kordasht historical bathroom and Khodafarin bridge, over Aras River, will be visited, Accommodation in Kaleybar
Day 3: Kaleybar
After breakfast, short time driving and then hiking(about 2-3 hours) through Arasbaran Height, to visit Babak Castle, which has been identified as the stronghold of Babak Khorramdin, Iranian Hero who fought the caliphate of Abbasids, Accommodation in Kaleybar
Day 4: Kaleybar-Meshkin Shahr
Driving to Meshkin Shahr, hiking about 2 or 3 hours in Shirvan Valley, (You can visit Shahsavan Nomads and their black tents in July and get acquainted with their life style), Accommodation in Meshkin Shahr
Day 5: Meshkin Shahr-Ardabil-Sareyn
Driving to Sareyn, visiting Ardabil and its highlights including Sheikh Safi-od-din Ardabil complex, driving toward Sareyn , and hiking in Alvares Height located in Sabalan Mountain Slopes about 2 hours , Swimming and relaxing in thermal spring pools in the evening, (You can visit Nomads and their black tents in the end of Spring and Summer get acquainted with their life style), Accommodation in Sareyn
Day 6: Sareyn-Masouleh-Rasht
Driving towards Masouleh, passing through the small towns and cities which are located near Caspian Sea, hiking in the hillside of Gasht village to visit Roud Khan Castle, visiting Masouleh, this spectacular village, with special stair style of the houses, driving towards Rasht. Day 7: Rasht-Anzali-Tehran
Short time city sightseeing of Rasht, including traditional Bazaar, driving towards Anzali, visiting this small
and beautiful town near Caspian Sea, boating on Anzali lagoon and visiting beautiful landscape , birds and flowers, then heading to Tehran, & visiting Gilan Rural Eco Museum en route, Accommodation in Tehran
Day 8: Tehran
Drive to the north of Tehran after breakfast.
Get the chance to learn more about the Qajar and Pahlavi history in the Sa’dabad Palace Museum and we continue to the Niavaran Palace and the Tajrish Traditional Bazaar, the favourite shopping destination of the locals, Accommodation in Tehran
Day 9: Tehran-IKIA Airport
Full day city tour south of Tehran, visiting some highlights, including Iran Ancient National Museum, Golestan Palace (closed on holly memorial ceremonies) and Abgineh (Glass) Museum (Ancient National & Abgineh Museums are closed on Mondays & holly memorial), A luxurious dinner with live music in one of the luxury restaurants, transfer to the airport, say goodbye and return home.
