The ALMERIO storage system is ready to securely store a variety of weapons from rifles to side arms, gear bags to optics, all utilizing the same cabinet frame. This ability to store multiple weapons in one system, and do so without the need to disassemble or zero the weapon is a huge boost to your operational and combat readiness.

The ALMERIO storage system combines thoughtful design and unmatched features to create a system that’s thoroughly dependable and instantly deployable under any circumstance. Keeping operational readiness in mind, the ALMERIO storage system is both versatile and flexible FLEXIBILITY

The most flexible weapons security storage system available, the Spacesaver UWR storage system maximizes armory storage space within a compact footprint. Adjustable racks accommodate weapons of various lengths and types, and perforated doors and sides simplify weapons inventory assessments, while keeping weapons stored and highly secure.

SUPPORT COMPONENTS

Support Rail Mounts inside the cabinet, suspends barrel supports and other accessories.

Barrel Supports. Barrel supports, which help support and protect the weapons, mount inside the cabinet on support rail. Dipped in a PVC- coating to protect weapons against any abrasions.

Universal base and stock cups (gun stock rests) mount inside the cabinet and work together to accommodate a wide array of weapons. A multitude of customized bases and stock cups are also available for weapon specific storage. Rigidity.

Constructed of heavy-gauge steel, the fully welded cabinets are 42.38" (1076mm) wide and 16.25" (413mm) deep with four heights (18" (457mm), 34" (864mm), 45" (1143mm) and 61.5" (1562mm)) that accommodate weapons of varying lengths and types. Durable welded and riveted hinges prevent tampering with doors.

Visibility. Perforated doors, sides and rear wall make weapons inventory assessments easy, while keeping weapons stored and secure.

Security. Locking bars exceed military requirements for arms security of conventional arms, ammunitions and explosives. The racks are designed to be ganged together rom the inside – topto-bottom, back-to-back, side-to-side – to meet security weight requirements of at least 500 lbs (227 kg).

Bin Systems. A single cabinet may contain one, two or three vertical or horizontal bin systems. The bin system may be used to store gear, optics, ammo clips, ammo boxes, or spare barrels. Installing, removing or modifying the bin systems can be accomplished without any tools or fasteners to aid in a fast transformation in reset or theater. Versatile.

All of our transport components and cabinets passed accidental shock and load tests by keeping weapons safe and secure. ALMERIO storage system transportability cart has industrial grade casters for smooth movement within and around your facility ALMERIO mini S T O R A G E S Y S T E M Oering the same features as the standard UWR storage system, the ALMERIO mini storage system is just as flexible and versatile. With the same depth and four standard heights, at 22.38" (568mm) wide the UWRmini storage system checks in at slightly over half the width of the standard UWR storage system. Its decreased width and weight make physical transport much easier than a full-size ALMERIO storage system.

The ALMERIO mini storage system is also ideal for maximizing space inside transport containers and arms rooms where every cubic inch counts. Weapons need to be kept safe and secure at all times – especially when being transported. Efficient, flexible weapons storage for armoury locations – with instant expandability built in, the Expandable Weapons Rack enables high-density storage of virtually any small arms within a secure space such as a military or police armoury. Simple and straightforward to use, the arms storage system can grow or change with requirements by adding or removing bolt-on modules.

How it works Specially designed panels hook into single or double-sided posts. Single sided posts locate against walls, double sided posts permit weapons storage panels to be located back-to-back creating aisles for larger areas and saving valuable armoury space. The flexibility of the removable mounting com ponents ensures that the Expandable Weapons Rack can store all rifles, shotguns, sub machine guns, handguns and personal defence weapons, vertically or horizontally – plus leave room for firearms accessories. The Double Space Stock and Barrel saddle component enables easy storage of machine guns fitted with bipod as diverse as FN Minimi, NATO M60, L86 LSW and CETME Ameli. Modular Racks – multi stacking – fixed or mobile Modular Secure Stackable Weapons Rack enables high-density storage of arms in flexible, stackable format. Stores all but the largest weapons along with accessories. Internal design permits storage for scopes and other accessories attached for rapid deployment if required. Internal layout can be quickly altered to meet police operational requirements and the stacking units themselves can quickly be broken down and repositioned as required. Heavy Machine Gun / M2 Weapon Rack

These Racks store the .50 inch calibre Browning-type machine gun and spare barrels in a secure upright position and permit easy transportation with a deployable base if required.

The M2 weapon rack is constructed from tough structural steel sections to protect the firearms from rough handling during storage and transportation. Weighing 145 kg this weapons rack is substantially built to give many years of service in the field.

Each rack has capacity to store 4 guns and 8 barrels.

The M2 racks can be either bolted to wall or floor. They can also be stacked and bolted back to back, side to side or on top of one another. If required they can also be mounted on mobile carriages to provide even higher density storage.

For police and military rapid deployment use – or ease of movement between locations – the M2 Weapon Rack can be supplied with an optional deployable base for use with fork trucks and pallet trucks. This enables easy loading to aircraft, trucks etc.

The M2 Rack comes with a locking bar inserted through the centre of the machine gun for use with a security padlock – preventing unauthorised access or movement.

Grenade Launcher Storage Rack

FWS provides unique solutions for storage of these weapons – from small Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGL) and other single-shot weapons such as the HK69, through to RPG-type GLs and automatic MGL / MSGL, GMG.

We offer a highly convenient and flexible system for Grenade Launcher storage – easily used both inside the armoury and for mobile applications.

Storage racks can be supplied dedicated for Grenade Launchers or integrated with storage of other equipment.

Static or Mobile GL Storage For static use, we offer grenade launcher storage on either open racking or inside lockable racks. Racks can be single sided for wall mounted or double sided for storage with aisles.

For use in the field, GL storage can be installed into land vehicles or mobile (container-based) armouries, aircraft and ships. Alternatively, storage racks can be mounted to specially designed fork-lift truck bases for easy-loading to transport aircraft and vehicles. Open Racking or Lockable Racks

Grenade Launchers can be stored using specially designed components on open Expandable Weapons Racks or in locking Stackable Weapons Racks.

Highly flexible storage comes as standard – for instance, different types of Grenade Launchers can be stored together side by side. In addition, GLs can be stored right alongside other equipment such as assault rifles, pistols etc. when required.

We also supply storage boxes to fit onto the rack alongside stored GLs to house accessories and associated equipment. We also offer many other useful components to deal with virtually any weapon storage combination or requirement.

Grenade Launcher Mobility both inside the armoury and for transport is easy. Grenade Launcher racks can be placed onto Castor Wheel bases for easy movement around the armoury. Alternatively Deployable Bases can be used for fork lift trucks to load weapons directly onto transport.

The fully adjustable Weapon Storage Components are the key to the flexibility of the ALMERIO system whether used in a Police or Military Armoury, as part of a mobile operations unit, or for evidence storage.

The components can be positioned in any location on the storage system back panels. They are securely fixed into position using a single fixing for fast changes when required using a single tool.

This permits both high-density storage of single weapon types and, or, a diverse mixture of weapon types on a single Cabinet or Rack – with or without accessories such as scopes. Instant adjustability provides the most flexible solution available to meet any operational requirement.

For police evidence storage, the flexibility provided by the adjustable components enable the highest density storage of diverse types and sizes of evidence such as pistols, shotguns, rifles etc. as well as other weapons such as knives all within a single cabinet or rack.

Horizontal Mount

Enables horizontal storage of carbines such as M4, sub-machine guns such as Heckler & Koch MP5 or MP7, FN P-90 and shorter rifles such as the SA80, FAMAS and Z-84 in the Secure Weapons Cabinet and Stackable Weapons Rack.

In an armoury location, used with the Expandable Weapons Rack when horizontal space is not restricted, the Horizontal Mount will accept any weapon through to the longest sniper rifle.

Supplied as 2 parts with separate barrel and stock mounts. The mounts have a rubber lining to protect weapons.

Storage Box

75mm & 150mm size Can be located wherever is convenient on the Racking back panels. These open storage boxes can be used for ammunition, accessories and other loose equipment. We also offer magazine storage boxes. Barrel Saddle

1, 5 or 6 capacity, 140mm or 175mm deep The great adjustability of the storage system enables the Barrel Saddle location to precisely cradle the barrel of most guns.

The Barrel Saddle is often used with the Expandable Weapons Rack in armoury locations to vertically store assault rifles such as the SA-80, M16 and HK 36. It also used for vertical storage of taller weapons in the Secure Cabinet and Stackable Racks. We also produce special Barrel Saddles suitable for the FN2000 Tactical which will also accommodate the Grenade Launcher

Stock Shelf

1, 5 and 6 capacity Often used on the Expandable Weapons Rack, the Stock Shelf permits a further row of arms to be stored in armoury locations.

Roll Out Work Shelf

5 and 6 space wide Provides a very convenient slide-away shelf (rolling on ball- bearings) to temporarily leave magazines while weapons are placed back into racking.

It is also a convenient shelf to store pistols or other evidence while it is tagged before storage in the Secure Evidence Cabinet.

The shelf also provides a stable working surface for making notes or packing and is available in different widths.

Stock Saddle

1, 5, 6, 10, 12 capacity These rubber lined Saddles enable positive location of stocks to prevent weapons overlapping or touching one another and help to ensure there is no way for sights to contact the storage panel or for weapons to cause damage to each other during storage. Handgun Pack no Magazine Storage

1, 6 & 8 capacity All widely used pistols such as the Glock 17, Beretta 92 (M9), SIG Sauer P226 and HK USP Tactical types as well as revolvers such as the Manurhin MR73 fit securely into the rubber lined cradles in the Pack yet are easy to remove.

Handgun Pacs are available with locking bars for securing weapons.

Handgun Pack with Magazine Storage

1, 6 & 8 capacity This version of the Handgun Pack provides storage for 3 magazines with each weapon. Magazines simply slide into storage slots beneath the weapon.

We also provide a special version with wider Magazine Storage for the FN Herstal 5.7 x 28mm ammunition as used in FN’s Five seveN Tactical Pistol

Seismic Barrel saddle

This component prevents the weapons from being dislodged by movement of the Secure Cabinets, Stackable Weapons Racks or Expandable Racks. It is ideal for securing weapons during transportation or in areas prone to seismic activity.

The standard rubber-lined barrel support is supplied with an additional part – a hinged lifting flap with a rubber-lined hole to securely hold the barrel.

The flap is securely held down into position by a nipple which locates into a sprung receiver. To operate, the flap is easily lifted to permit removal of the weapon.

Lockable Barrel Saddle

Enables weapons to be locked into the Secure Weapons Cabinet, Stackable Rack, or Expandable Rack. The standard rubber-lined U shaped barrel saddle is fitted with a hinged flap which is lowered over the barrel and padlocked shut (1 or 2 padlocks as required).

Removal of the weapon is restricted to key holders which enables total control over access. Carry Handle for Stackable Weapons Rack

The optional Carry Handles designed for the Stackable Weapons Rack (SWR) fit into pre-punched holes on the outside. They can be removed from the Racks in the same way as the other components and stored on the Back Panel internally for safe keeping.

No space inside the Rack is wasted because the Carry Handles can be placed on the panel behind the weapon (rifle, carbine, etc.) and not interfere with the weapons storage capacity (including a weapon with attachments such as scope etc.)

Deployable (forklift truck) Base for Stackable Weapons Racks

The deployable base for forklift trucks permits rapid deployment and easy loading and unloading of the Stackable Weapons Rack to and from crates, tactical vehicles, transport vehicles and aircraft. Suitable for either fork trucks or pallet trucks, the Deployable Base is supplied either for a single unit or as a double base for when gun racks are mounted back to back.

Ballistic Vest Holder

Enables police and military protective vests to be stored on racks with guns, batons, accessories etc. When combined with weapon storage components and shelves, the Flak Jacket Holder permits diverse equipment types to be grouped together for rapid deployment and ease of use. Individuals are able to store all their equipment in a single location on a weapons rack.

In addition, the holder provides a safe and easy to use hanging area for Protective gear which being bulky and stiff is awkward to store.

The Teflon® coated steel pistol prongs provide storage of 9mm pistols in between barrels and barrel jackets of carbines and assault rifles used in Stacking Rack and open Expandable Weapons Rack. The 11 Capacity Pistol Peg Bar is particularly useful when storing longer rifles such as M16 inside the Stackable Weapons Rack as the wasted space between weapons can be used. When storing shorter guns such as Steyr AUG or SIG SG 550 (which are short enough to permit Handgun Pack storage above vertically stored weapons) the 11 Capacity Pistol Prong can either substitute Handgun Packs to permit additional horizontal storage of rifles or be used to simply be used add additional handgun capacity.

Handguns can be individually locked to the Peg Bar if required.

Double Space Stock and Barrel Saddle

For storage of machine guns such as M449 SAW / FN Minimi / L7A2 ‘Gympy’L86A2 GPMG, PKM or RPK-74 with a bipod – the Double Space Saddle enables the additional width of the bipod to be accommodated on the gun storage rack. The saddle takes up 2 standard vertical storage spaces per weapon but allows the convenience of leaving the bipod in place on the weapon ready for rapid deployment. The Double Saddle has the standard rubber lining to protect the weapon and is also available in a Seismic version for transportation or areas prone to seismic activity. Photo shows Seismic version. Spare barrels can also be easily accommodated.

Adjustable Firearms Shelf Unit

Available with our without dividers, our shelf unit is widely used for storage of all types of equipment including weapon bags, Ballistic Helmets, Plates, and Tasers. Complete flexibility is ensured thanks to the 12mm divider increments, the firearms shelf unit will store everything from Tasers in holster to a rifle or sniper carry bags. Also, of course, changing the shelf divider layout takes only moments so armourers can adjust the storage set up immediately to handle new weapons, accessories and other equipment as required. 1, 6 or 8 Capacity

For storage of X26 or X2 Taser Storage outside the holster, our 6 or 8 capacity Taser Pacs are the solution. They will accommodate the standard weapon with or without grip extension. In addition, there is storage space for cartridges. The design of the Pac helps to ensure that the delicate cartridges ar e not damaged during storage. The X26/X2 Taser Pac can be used on Expandable Weapons Racks, Stackable Weapons Racks and Weapon Storage Cabinets.

This weapon storage component enables Tasers to be stored alongside all other commonly stored police weapons such as the Glock pistols, Remington shotguns, H&K sub machine guns like MP5s and assault rifles and carbines such as G36 and M4. The armourer can organise the armoury in accordance with operational requirements – mixing weapon types on the same storage panel if required. Also weapon inventory checks are extremely easy to carry out.

SOLUTIONS FOR TRANSPORTING WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT

Weapons Cart The weapons cart enables military and police users to easily move weapons to and from or within the armoury or evidence storage vault. The cart is double sided with 10 wide weapon positions on each side. As with the rest of storage system, the cart will easily handle both weapons all of one type or a mixture of types depending on requirements. The cart can also be used with Handgun Packs. The barrel and stock saddles can be instantly repositioned to cater for different load types.

Utilising the standard system components, the weapons cart can be immediately adapted to carry a wide variety of firearms. The rack shown illustrates the unit’s flexibility – loaded with weapons with different lengths and a variety of accessories including: US Machine Gun M60 with bipod, Parker-Hale C3 Sniper with bipod, SA-80, Heckler & Kock G36 (with grip and scope attached), Remington 870 shotgun and M16 Assault rifle.

This weapons cart is made from heavy gauge steel and has rubber tyre bearing castors making it e asy to move using the welded steel handles

Mobile Armoury

Stackable Racks can be used in vehicles to enable weapons to be brought to incidents, ideal for police or military armoury units.

Stackable Weapons Racks can either be permanently located in a designated armoury vehicle. Alternatively, with integrated handles, they can be easily lifted and secured into general vehicles when required.

Our system offers the highest density storage available for all types of firearms – from pistols to machine guns and grenade launchers.

Mobile racking allows you to get even more from your existing armoury locations. Key Benefits

Double your storage capacity – get more from existing facilities Create space in the secure area of the armoury to provide storage for ammunition, explosives and valuable equipment, or workspace for personnel Avoid expensive relocations and the construction costs of new armoury or storage facilities Double the storage capacity of your armoury Imagine what happens when the highest density weapon storage system is mounted onto mobile carriages. All the space previously allocated to aisles and walkways is converted to storage – so the quantity of weapons which can be stored in any given area is doubled. For example, on a static rack we can store 206 pistols per linear metre – but that effectively increases to 412 weapons per linear metre when the racking is installed onto mobile carriages.

All our standard products can be fitted to our roller racking system to provide previously unattainably high levels of storage density for all types of firearms.

Mobile Racking works by eliminating all the space previously set aside to give access to static racking – that’s all the aisles and walkways. When racking can roll on rails, there is effectively only one aisle which is shared between all the racks as required.

The weapon racks are mounted on carriages and are simply rolled along to move the aisle into the required location. The carriages glide on low friction rails and are moved effortlessly using a handle mounted to each carriage. To access a weapon, simply go to the rack required and roll the carriage along. This opens up the aisle required and gently moves all the other carriages out of the way. The system works as smoothly as silk, even for heavy weapons like machine guns and sniper rifles. Plus the equipment is built with an extreme safety margin for weight bearing limits. So even a rack full of 0.50 Calibre machine guns and barrels will move smoothly and easily. A failsafe anti-tilt mechanism means that it is literally impossible for the carriages to tilt more than 3mm ensuring that weapons are secure on the rack at all times. No more ‘dead space’

Mobile racking means the end of ‘dead space’ taken up by aisles (usually 50% of a storage area). The aisles and walkways are all turned into valuable storage space within the security of the armoury.

The space saved can be used for storing additional weapons. Alternatively, the extra room can be used to create an armoury workshop for firearms maintenance or provide secure storage of ammunition, pyrotechnics, explosives, CS gas, PAVA or other restricted items.

Eliminate the need to relocate expensive armoury facilities Armouries are by their nature very expensive facilities, so getting more from existing locations can enable great cost savings as well as avoiding disruption to day to day firearms operations.

The cost of relocating an existing armoury which is full of weapons and equipment can be completely avoided by using our mobile racking system.

The Inventory Tag enables instant and easy identification of the correct location of guns and other equipment. The tags can be used with Expandable Racking, Stackable Weapons Racks and Weapon Storage Cabinets.

This means that if an assault rifle (for example) is missing from the rack without authorisation the loss would be immediately discovered by the armoury team. In addition all details of the missing weapon would be readily available – shown on the Inventory Tag.

The weapon storage tags are made from durable plastic. They are both magnetic and also have a screw fixing hole. This means that for quick labelling, a tag can be given an ID number and immediately attached to the rack component holding the weapon using the magnet.

If the weapon is to be stored on the rack permanently, however, the tag can be screwed through into the patented universal back panel (using pre-punched holes) to identify each weapon without danger of the tag being accidentally dislodged.

The tags have blank white space for serial numbers, text or barcode to identify each weapon’s exact position on the rack.

Biometric: Fingerprint Based System A biometric system comprises a reader, which reads a biometric characteristic (such as the pattern of papillary ridges of a finger) into a computer, and a matching algorithm that compares the obtained data with the similar data stored in the computer’s database. As a rule, the computer’s database stores not the biometric characteristic itself, but a certain digital code (sometimes called “passport” or “template”) that is calculated based on the characteristic it represents. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Technology

The purpose of an RFID system is to enable data to be transmitted by a portable device, called a tag, which is read by an RFID reader and processed according to the needs of a particular application. The data transmitted by the tag may provide identification or location information, or specifics about the product tagged, such as price, colour, date of purchase, and etc. The use of RFID in tracking and access applications first appeared during the 1980’s RFID quickly gained attention because of its ability to track moving objects. As the technology is reined, more pervasive and invasive uses for the RFID tags are in the works. In a typical RFID system, individual objects are equipped with a small inexpensive tag. The tag contains a transponder with a digital memory chip that is given a unique electronic product code. The interrogator, an antenna packaged with a transceiver and decoder, emits a signal activating the RFID tag so it can read and write data to it. Then an RFID tag passes through the electromagnetic zone. It detects the reader’s activation signal.
