Slovenski Atletski Letopis 2011 ISSN 1318-2994 SLOVENSKI ATLETSKI LETOPIS 2011 Ljubljana, maj 2012 SLOVENSKI ATLETSKI LETOPIS 2011 IZDALA ATLETSKA ZVEZA SLOVENIJE AVTOR: ZDRAVKO PETERNELJ PREVOD: DAVORIN DAMJANIĆ PRELOM: PETER DROFENIK TISK: PG KOŠTOMAJ, CELJE NAKLADA: 300 IZVODOV IZJEMNO ATLETSKO LETO 2011 - IZVRSTNI OBETI ZA LETO 2012 IZJEMNO ATLETSKO LETO 2011 - IZVRSTNI OBETI ZA LETO 2012 Pred polnim začetkom tekmovalne sezone v letu 2012 se vsaj malce pomudimo ob v mnogih pogledih sanjski sezoni 2011. A naslov evropske mladinske prvakinje Barbare Špiler, njegove klubske kolegice, in naslov svetovnega prvaka Roberta Rennerja med mlajšimi mladinci, predstavljajo vrhunce slovenske atletike. Skupaj z vrhunskimi nastopi Žana Rudolfa in njegovo srebrno kolajno, ob izvrstnih uspehih gorskih tekačev (Mitja Kosovelj, Lucija Krkoč, Lea Einfalt, Tina Kozjek, ...), imamo pred seboj izjemen potencial slovenske atletike. Atletska zveza Slovenije predsednik dr. Peter Kukovica – 4 – EXCEPTIONAL ATHLETIC YEAR 2011 - OUTSTANDING FORECAST FOR 2012 EXCEPTIONAL ATHLETIC YEAR 2011 - OUTSTANDING FORECAST FOR 2012 Before beginning of competition season in 2012, we should turn on to, in many ways, a dream season of 2011. It was launched when the global sports agency reported that in athletic scoring tables of May wo of our superior athlete were on the world's top: • Tina Šutej which reached 4.61 m in the pole vault in the U.S. and occupied a leading position in the world's scoring tables, • and not long after her joined by Martina Ratej with a throw of 65.89 meters. The highlight was the bronze medal of Primož Kozmus at the World Championships. A title of European Junior Champion Špiler Barbara, his club colleague, and the title of world champion Robert Renner among youths, represents the highlights of Slovenian athletics. Along with superb performances by Žan Rudolf and his silver medal, having excellent success by mountain runners (Mitja Kosovelj, Lucija Krkoč, Lea Einfalt, Tina Kozjek, ...), we have before us an enormous potential for Slovenian athletics. For us it is probably the most successful season in the history of Slovenian athletics. Therefore, the transition in 2012 in this respect was as optimistic and promising, and this view is not changed, despite the untapped opportunities for our athletes at the Indoor World Championship in Istanbul. In 2012, through »Slovenian Athletic Federation Program« we`ll catch up, just like in 2011, following two basic premises: • the implementation of the program to the extent such funds are provided (the Sport Foundation, the Ministry, Sponsors, etc.), • in accordance with professional positions, athletic programs are primarily and targetly supported. The spending structure is also planned, with the aim to primarily support athletic programs, and all teams competitions, each of which will undoubtedly be the most important one in the OG in London. Athletic Federation of Slovenia has in 2012 set the following key (not just competition) goals: 1. Proactive cooperation with the club, for operational, financial, technical and organizational support for the club as well for their athletes, coaches, judges and other members. 2. Strategic action in building a modern athletic infrastructure. 3. Medals at OG London 2012, EC Helsinki and youth WC Barcelona. 4. Upgrading of the International athletic league in 2012. 5. Linking mass athletic events, and active linking with sponsors
