There were four Pac-12 teams ranked in the top six in the country entering the meet. Redshirt senior Shelby Buckley led the way at Pac-12s with her best 6K time since 2008, but the Trojans were a very young group and have laid a strong foundation for the future.

USC’s XC team improved by nearly 100 points at the con- ference meet from a year ago, largely due to the infl ux of a talented freshman class of Jenna Tong, Nicole Davies, Katerina Berdousi and Natasha Strickland. They join USC’s top runner Erica Capellino and fellow sophomores Kira Sod- 2012 Women of Troy Cross Country Roster erstrom, Erin Robinson and Erin Matranga to form a solid team in the distances looking to the future. Katherine B. Loker Stadium was made possible by a generous donation from Katherine B. Loker. The 3,000-seat stadium opened in the 2001 season and was dedicated on May 5 during that year's USC-UCLA dual meet. The track and stadium underwent renovations this past winter. The facility includes track offi ces, locker rooms, an athlete lounge and meeting rooms. Loker stadium hosted the 2003 Pac-10 Championships, the fi rst time a conference meet had ever been held on the USC campus. USC will also host the 2013 Pac-10 Championships.
