A " % AT T/3 AM4US/ COMING INT T/IS GAM3 • The Ambush were short 12 players last weekend due to either illness, quarantine or injury. Playing with a depleted roster, they lost back-to-back games to the Ontario Fury last Friday February 5 and Satuday February 6. • At the game notes deadline, it appears some of last week’s missing players will be cleared for action this weekend. • Scoring has been a team effort for the Ambush, with 15 different players having scored thus far this season. AM4US/ ADD T&O )"A637S • The Ambush added two players this week, acquiring forward Jerjer Gibson and defender William Eskay on loan from the Harrisburg Heat for the rest of the 2021 season. Harrisburg announced on February 5 that they have opted out of the 2021 season. • Forward Jerjer Gibson is a veteran of five professional arena soccer seasons. He appeared in 30 games with the Ambush from 2017-19. He also played with the Pennsylvania Roar, Baltimore Blast, Syracuse Silver Knights and last season with the Heat. In 112 career games, he has tallied 60 goals, 40 assists and 31 blocked shots. • Defender William Eskay has played the past two seasons with Harrisburg, appearing in 43 games. He has posted 24 goals, eight assists and has blocked 16 opposing shots. &/AT2S 138T • After tonight’s contest, the Ambush finish the month of February with a two-game home stand against the San Diego Sockers slated for Friday, February 26 at 7:35 p.m. CST and Sunday, February 28 at 3:05 p.m. CST at the Axius Field at the Family Arena. • The Comets also finish the month of February are home, hosting the Dallas Sidekicks on Friday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m. CST and on Sunday, February 21 at 5:00 p.m. CST.     Newsletter Colorado New Mexico Oklahoma Arkansas Texas Kansas Mexico February 2019 The 2019 IAVM Region 6 Future Leaders Conference took place on January 14-16 at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex! Educational sessions were designed by the planning committee based on feedback from attendees in 2017 and included topics such as the challenges of young leadership, time management and self-care for future leaders, emergency action plan development, ticketed events from booking to settlement, different types of professional development available through IAVM, emergency preparedness, and a live Trained Crowd Manager course. Attendees also visited the world-famous Cadillac Ranch site and Big Texan Steak Ranch in addition to touring the Amarillo MPEV “Hodgetown” and the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts. The goals of this conference were to provide helpful tools and information to attendees for their own growth and to take back to their respective venues and organizations, in addition to raising funds for Future Leaders Conference attendee stipends to attend the upcoming IAVM Region 6 Biennial Conference in spring 2020 in Fayetteville, AR. The conference succeeded in their goals by raising over $7,000 in funds for these stipends. The Co-Chairs of the Planning Committee, Ashley Peacock and Melinda Landry, would like to thank the Region 6 Board, our conference registrants and sponsors, and all those who assisted the planning committee and volunteered their time to help make sure this conference was a success.
