The programme is currently being finalised and will be announced within the next week or so. TIME CHARGES - HOURLY RATES 2006 Members are advised that the hourly rates for time charges for Quantity Surveyors for the year 2006 have been finalised and are available for the private sector. These rates are available on the ASAQS CUG . The hourly rates for the public sector for 2006 have unfortunately not yet been issued. We have been advised that these are imminent and are expected during the next few days. When published, they will be made available on the ASAQS website, as well as the website of the DPW (www.publicworks.gov.za). TIME CHARGES - STUDENT HOURLY RATES 2006 Following numerous requests of the ASAQS to publish recommended student hourly rates for University as well as University of Technology students, members are advised that these will also be made available within the next fortnight or so. Although these rates will initially be based on the rates applicable in the Gauteng region only, the other Chapters are encouraged to provide any further details of their respective regions.
