I have always felt that to have a Cornwall Council seat that included Fowey w th Tywardreath was illog cal - they are totally separate commun ties. I think 2 new seats could be made as follows: Take the Fowey parish wards out. Make 1 seat from the 3 wards of Tywardreath and Par Parish Council + St Blazey North ward (estimated at 5439 electors in 2023). Make a 2nd seat from St Blazey South ward + both wards of Carlyon parish + Charlestown ward of St Austell Bay parish (estimated at 4650 electors in 2023). Carlyon Bay is hardly separate from St Blazey, it makes no sense having a dividing line down Par Moor Road. Charlestown has links with St Blazey Gate - they now have the same vicar and the buses from St Blazey go through there. Some adjustment would probably have to be made as to where the line is drawn between the St Blazey parish wards - either ABN2 or 3 might have to be moved into St Blazey South to even up the numbers for each Cornwall Council seat. • Roseland Neighbourhood Development Plan
THE ROSELAND PLAN OUR ROSELAND - OUR FUTURE www.roselandplan.org [email protected] Roseland Neighbourhood Development Plan Our Plan for the Period 2015 - 2030 Produced by the Roseland Neighbourhood Development Plan Steering Group May 2015 Statement of General Conformity with the Cornwall Local Plan – Strategic Policies, 2016 Following the Adoption of the Cornwall Local Plan: Strategic Policies (CLP) on 22nd November 2016, any Neighbourhood Development Plan ‘made’ prior to that date has been checked against the policies of the CLP for general conformity. The full report may be viewed at www.cornwall.gov.uk The Roseland Peninsula NDP has been assessed to determine whether any of its policies would be in conflict with the policies of the Cornwall Local Plan. In the case of the Roseland Peninsula NDP it was concluded that two policies of the NDP are out of general conformity with the CLP. These are Policies HO3 (Re-use of redundant buildings) and Policy HO4 (new affordable housing). They are not in general conformity because they require affordable housing to be provided below the new thresholds set out in national guidance and the adopted CLP (2016). All other policies of the plan remain in general conformity with the CLP 2016 and should be used in determining planning applications in the NDP area. Details are set out below of the conformity issue on HO3 and HO4 and how we propose that the policies will continue to be used: HO3 – Re-use of redundant buildings Part of this policy is no longer in conformity with Policy 8 of the CLP or National Policy as it is affecting proposals below the required threshold for provision of affordable housing or contributions towards the provision of affordable housing.

Study 4978 Cornwall OnLine Census Project, 1891 This document was supplied by the depositor and has been modified by AHDS History Introduction THIS STUDY contains our [Cornwall Online Census Project] transcript of the 1891 census returns for Cornwall. It has been transcribed, checked and validated by the volunteers of the Cornwall Online Census Project, the Cornish arm of the Free Census project. The original records are held by The National Archives and this transcription is done with their permission. Image copies of the original returns can be viewed on film, fiche or CDROM from commercial suppliers and at many research facilities around the world. This study contains a full transcription of the 1891 census returns for Cornwall—a snapshot of the people and places of Cornwall on the night of April 5th, 1891. The file names are the PRO piece number code (without punctuation). About UK Census Returns About Free Census (FreeCEN) was started early in 2000 with a pilot project for the 1891 census returns for Devon. The aim of Free Census is to transcribe all the UK 19th century census returns. It is part of FreeUKGEN and is a sister project to FreeBMD and FreeREG. The intention is that all three of the UK primary sources for the family historian will be online and “free to view.” Six months after the Devon project started, the Cornwall 1891 commenced. Most English and Welsh counties are now covered for the 1891, with the Scottish projects concentrating on the 1841. There are several English 1861 projects, using commercially produced discs and two English 1841 projects, including Cornwall.
